  • Paul, what is the little box you have to do the run up test...? No Tx/Rx...?

  • @bowser197 If you are talking about the control knob he turns , thats a "servo tester" it cycles the servos left to right. he's just turning it one way for the throttle.

  • How doesthismotor compare to the turnigy G60 ?

  • Hello, I can't find a review on the turnigy g15 motor.... Question, can the shaft be reversed ? I don't see a grub screw to hold the shaft on one side if the motor.

  • why did i click on this?

  • 2:19 - 2:24 = THX sound

  • Question PLZ ANSWER: what is the best all round motor for park flyers and 3D planes.???

Can you tell me what recommended prop size and speed control

  • what a fat faggot

  • I'm not much of a "hobbyist". I don't have a shop or lab to work in anymore.

About the projects I have cradled for 15 years.

Today I have finally gotten around to re-formalizing my plans leading up to a deep-sat powered body armor(Hey, who spilled this radium?).

List of things to make from "scratch":

Multimeter, Breadboard, Eddy Current Tester, Ultrasonic Tester, X-ray Tubehead, Furnace, Kiln, Mill, Cryo-lab, Robotic Factory...

I guess I'm a lot closer than 15yrs ago, but still...

  • Hey,

In addition to the machined propr adaptor, you can back the shaft out the back and use a shaft adaptor.

The scorpion motors are set up this way. Since this motor is basically built the same, it would probably work in the same way.

I don't like using the machined prop adaptor... If you break the prop, you'll want to replace your shaft and prop adaptor, so it's beneficial to set it up like that.

    Cheers.

  • A tip, keep your fingers away for the propeller. ^^ 2:12

  • I love you Hobby King you gonna make me a very rich man..

  • Looking at this motor for a scratch built P-51 with a 60 inch wingspan. Not sure what the final weight of the model will be. Do you think this motor will have enough power to pull this plane? Looks like a real good deal and I like the prop adapter to allow mounting using the supplied mount. Thanks for the review... Mudman1959

  • Killer new intro!!!

  • Maybe you can help, I have this motor on a falcon 25 and even running the 8 inch prop I am still getting over 700 watts and my 60amp esc is getting blistering hot on a 4s battery. I am going to a 80amp esc but I am afraid this many watts will burn this motor up. By the way I have a 9x5 prop on there now because the 8 inch wasnt enough and now I have thottle set to 50% and getting over 800watts what can I do to fix this or is it a bad motor.

  • @mbyers1971 Hi try it on 3s battery then you may be ok with 9 prop but check with watt meter

  • Yet another sweet motor from HK and i've still got to get a couple of motors for my gliders ;-) but so many other RC things have got to come first ;-( but i'll get them soon i hope lol, great review Paul = thumbs up.

  • @startazz Motors? In a glider?

  • @timbulb Yes mate you can have them in a glider! you use it to get you at the height where you want to be then you can ride the thermals ;-) not all gliders come without motors.

  • lools pretty nice

    grtzzz

  • How do you measure the Thrust?
