@tinymouse2 In case somebody hasn't mentioned it yet (stupid new youtube layout) yes it is a classical guitar. The body meets the neck at the 12th fret and the neck itself is wider than regular acoustics among other differences. Classical guitars are typically played with nylon strings, too.

The positioning of the D or E flat (on a double bass at least) doesn't change the type of double bass.

3 basses currently in our house here. 2 have E flat and 1 has a D. 1 E flat is setup for pure Jazz and the other is a Hybrid (semi-softs so it's capable of playing classical stuff as well).

The D is purely orchestral.

Just saying that the position of where the body meats the neck doesn't define what style of guitar it is. Oh and yes it's the same as double basses.
