@ Inromandude: Sorry to say, but the carbs have no Idle circuit, and its actually part of the safety required for the GP bikes of that era, that the engine shuts off automatically if the driver is not holding the throttle...

@gabman81pp Its a 90 degree v-twin 250,The bikes is a rare Rs250 nd5..The pipe on the left hand side is shorter and low slung almost inline with the swing-arm and is not smoking much.

Great looking and sounding bike! Kinda funny to read al those post here (O; it clearly shows that is a Honda (emblem on gas tank) HRC back of the seat, Two stroke GP bikes don't idle and they run nicely on high RPMs because there is where the power is and ment to be. And after 14 years of riding, it is not strange that your clutch need adjustment. 2010 now, are you riding the bike now?

Its a real 250GP bike, they do not have Idle, period (Powerjet carbs without Idle circuit) As for my riding, Its better than your posting!

@lnromandude Why don't you people get it? 1985 GP bike this is. My Dad raced 125's, 250's, then converted his 250 into a 350 and raced that. None of them idled. That's just how they were/are. Besides an engine doesn't just have an idle. The fuelling system gives 'any engine' it's idle.

Its a Honda, not an Aprilia, and yes, the clutch (dry clutch!!! ) was out of adjustment... Fist time out after 14 years apart in boxes... Bound to have some bugs...
