I just saw him last night. It was the best concert I have ever seen. Musically incredible and I have been to and forgotten many concerts. My wife was melting as he played some of the best riffs I have ever heard.
Unbelievably fantastic, this boy has got it and gone with it. Get down with your bad self Joe Bonamassa. You are my hero of the badest blissful blues that any entertainer of this generation has ever played or will play. Baby, you are the coolest slick on the walk with your guitar and voice. Thanks for being humble through it all. You have a great personality Joe, and your humbleness compliments your greatness. Love hearing you play, and that is like every day.
When Joe performed "The Great Flood" at this gig he later said it was "The most perfect moment on stage he'd ever had" (April 2009 Guitar Player Mag).I have to agree with him
In guitar player's interview with Joe, he stated that this was one of his favorite solo's of his tour. He won't listen to playback because he feels he will be disappointed with what it actually sounded like. I think I speak for everyone when I say he wouldn't. Amazing video... thank you.
This new song is great, and the video is also a very good quality. I've seen Bonamassa twice this year in Utrecht, Tivoli and Vredenburg both shows he played beautiful bluessongs as so many roads, sloe gin and the speedy woke up dreaming. He is truly a legend. I hope there are many more songs to come in the next years.
great to hear joe gettin' back to his blues routes in this tune...he'd been inclined towards more american rock lately, although that hasn't stopped me from listening to his new live cd everyday since it came out! he looks like he's lost a lot of weight recently also. i didn't realise he had been ill.
Hi was lucky enough to be at this show; even luckier to be stood next to Chantel McGregor and family. Thanks for posting a great vid of an absolutely awesome night. 'Woke up dreaming' on it's own was worth the ticket price. Come back soon Joe!
Joe was impressed with the turnout as much as we were impressed with the band, but lets not forget local legend "Sweeney" (support) thanks for the upload Tripsybon
awesome man yeah. even better than i expected.thought he took a few tunes to hit full stride but he just seemed to get better and better. i could listen to him play all day.
My band playing "The great flood" at a gig in Mo i Rana - Norway.
