A superb rendition of the original Glenn Miller arrangement. He put the dots down knowing that whatever he inscribed Red Nichols, Leo McConville & Manny Klein would play it at sight first time around - a hard act to follow but these guys pull it off.
Nice re-creation--these guys can sure play! (woulda been fun to hear Dudley Fosdick's mellophone solo played on an actual mellophone, but I'm happy hearing such an energetic and fluent recreation.) Thanks, Vince & guys!!
