  • The NHS was never free and it's ability to provide great healthcare has always been marginal. There is a reason why millions go to the USA for treatment - they better hospitals and better doctors.

  • The NHS is facing an onslaught. One from governments' pretending to "love" the NHS - whilst selling off increasingly large parts of it to their "chums".

But there's a greater threat and that is from inside the NHS. Society has changed. Since Thatcher many have become individualistic and that includes SOME who work in the NHS.

They don't want the NHS at heart - they want the "free market". This poses the greatest threat to NHS because these individuals withhold true commitment and service.

  • I am setting up a group/think tank in Staffordshire a small scrutiny panel for issues effecting the NHS locally to publicise the issues and dangers any help from anyone will be very welcome

  • shocked I need to know more

  • @HaywoodsCampaigner Let us know what you'd like to know- can put you in touch with anyone who appears on this video.

  • @ReelNews I am very concerned about the move from Hospital services to privatised community based services which are unaccountable and more the point private. I really want to make a real stink about this locally. Staffordshire County Council called it taking 5 star expensive hospital services and turning them into 2.5 star community services sold to "any willing provider". They have called hospitals "dangerous places to be" and "should be avoided at all costs. I need to know all

  • @ReelNews I need to get to know where to look, how to investigate, how to compile where I can get the resources. I am no slouch, MBA qualifies and I already have a pedigree at making myself a a royal pain in the ass, in the press on TV and through blogging of course They have recently temporarily closed Stafford A&E we have a 20,000 petition says it will open again

  • Fight for your rights.

Englishman John Locke was fond of saying that the only legitimate government was one that provided and supported the people's three natural rights, that of LIFE, LIBERTY and PROPERTY and that any government that DID NOT provide and support those are then NOT legitimate.

The MPs out to destroy the NHS are out to deprive Englishmen of their right to LIFE. Therefore, they are NOT legitimate and it is the obligation of the people to destroy that government.

  • since you hate NHS you can always picket to have hospitals closed . All those people getting free healthcare. Disgusting freeloaders

  • an article on why we should privatise the NHS written by an expert with years of experience trading derivatives.

  • hey theycallhim dave cameron said they are gonna privatise almost everything inc hospitals . It was in torygraph.

  • @theycallhim I think the main point here is about opportunity and fair access to education. By hiking up the cost of a graduate medical degree from £3,375 to £36,000 cash up front, it is more a question about 'who' will be able to access medical degrees. Applicants should be judged on their academic skills and potential to become good doctors, not simply by whether they can afford to pay £36,000 up front.

  • And now at 9:30 - oh no, it costs money to get a degree?! Well, given that a medicine degree jacks up your lifetime earnings by an AVERAGE of £200,000, it seems pretty fair that the recipient of that cash pays for it, not people who haven't gone to university!!!

I think that this government's been rubbish but I can't stand for this sort of bullshit misinformation!

  • And why does the description claim that £20bn will be cut off the NHS (which would still be more spending than during most of Labour's reign), when the budget has it INCREASING by 10% over the Parliament?

Why do you feel you have to lie? The NHS has been a collossal failure and the Condems are ideologically committed to it. Get over it.

  • Just skipping around at other random parts in the video - Thatcher is blamed for underinvestment in the NHS - what does this graph look like - bit ly/il7nF8 ?

[add a . in between "bit" and "ly"]

  • Why does the woman call the NHS the most cost-effective healthcare service in the world, when report upon report finds it in the bottom third?

Why is Mark Brittnell said to be the health advisor to David Cameron when he was actually the advisor to the last Labour government? - /watch?v=eLcwhgrxTWs

    What utter trash. "ReelNews", pah.
