Since this guy doesnt have a Enrage timer, It is very do-able after everyone except 2 tanks and one healer is dead. took us 14min to kill him cause 7 of them failed to dance at the first dance lesson...... :(

by the way, getting on the platform may sounds good, (in fact, it does sounds like a good idea) that will kill you by his poison nova when he is making you how to dance. :P

ive had it where we took out about 35% of his health on 10 mna, we all got our asses kicked on the first dance, cept our pally healer and DK tank, i dont really know how, but i came back 30 minutes later after i ate dinner and they were still going,so if u have the right dies, hiegan can be done with jsut a healer and tank

Heh, had to 3 man him as well. Everyone but the druid healer, warrior tank and me (lock) died at the first dance. Took ages, but it's definitely possible.

I still haven't mastered the dance.Luckily most everyone else in the guild has. It is possible to 3 man Heigan. (maybe 2 man?). It took our 2 tanks and one remaining healer a good 19 min to take him down from half health. I hate the dance.

Unfortunately, I know it is possible to 3 man Heigan (to a point). Most of his life was down, and myself (mage dps), a druid healer and a paladin tanking took him down the last 1/4 of the way. Note that it took forever... druid had to innervate and I had to use 2x mana gem and 2x evo (as Arcane). Mana is what will be limiting to a 3 man attempt though. Best bet is to use a raid mark on a ranged dps and have them all follow that mark. If they are too stupid for that kick them. XD

It's more a matter of timing than intelligence, and if you hit a lag spike you're totally screwed. We actually mark three of the master dancers but I for one am always to slow on the turnaround. Luckily my guild has a 'no kicking' policy for fellow guildies and no outsiders are allowed. I suck at Heigan but the rest of Naxx is a piece of cake. Being sociable, honest, trustworthy and passing on items I don't need also works in my favor. I am appreciated which is hard to find in a large guild.

I think he's using his mouse to turn faster, I always die on this because my turns are too wide using the WASD keys. I think I'll try using mouse turns for this.

If you die next time, just move your camera in the air and watch the others. look for the marks in the floor and memorise where to run each wave. it's really easy, but you need to actually be in the room imo, watching a video doesn't help much :P However nice video.

I haven't mastered the dance. I usually bite it between section 3 and 2 on the way back to the platform. No other boss is an issue. The first couple runs I had trouble with the Horseman but for whatever reason Heigan still gets me every time. Thanks for the tutorial I think it will help my uncoordinated ass.

I'm a MT and raidleader for 25 man, working on the immortal achievement, I have found the easiest way around the safety dance achievement is to just mark the safety points I want people to get on top of with flairs. - Running left to right, from point to point. Moving to the next point the second the wall sprays. - Don't run too far on the final one before turning around or you won't get out in time!!

Great vid. Had my first Heigan run last night (managed the dance fine after one lag-aborted attempt, only for our priest and shammies to totally fail on disease cleansing). Don't be tempted to just follow someone who you know knows the dance - lag will kill you if it gets even slightly involved.

Most important of all in this fight is to keep fighting to the end, I've had 9 people defeat Heigan on 25 man Naxx, Do Not wipe in prematurely even if too many people die, there is still a very good fighting chance :)

3-manned Heigan-10 from 60% to 0 with one resto druid, one DK tank, and one ret pally (me) alive. Rest of the pug were noobs who hadn't been there before. The kill took 17 minutes and my fingers were getting a bit tired from spamming Cleanse (it's on an odd place on one of my non-primary action bars bc I don't use it much as dps).

Afterwards, the warlock who died first said she "finally got the fight". After 17 minutes of us 3-manning it. >_> She also got the bracers, rofl.

If you are an engineer, have an alt with high engineering, or know someone with engineering and the white smoke flare schematic...

Drop smoke flares to mark the sections. You'll save many a life, especially in pugs. >.>

I did this several times and the one piece of advice that really helped me get it down was that you want to move to the area on the floor where the acid once was. It also helps to mark someone thats done it before so that everyone else can follow them.

BTW, as long as you have a tank, a dps and a healer that survive...you can 3 man it...might take 30min, but I have seen it done.

Same, 3 manned him. Everyone died at 75% hp... 24 min fight with myself as a pally tank, resto shammy and rogue.
