guys to put *ringtones* in the library just go to itunes preferences (on the edit panel), then General and then click the box next to ringtones, press "OK" then sync. its done. it will appear in your library. :)

There is a problem with that, I dont think people with PC's want to go out and buy a mac just to make a few ringtones for the phone when they could take a little extra time and do it like this.
I dont think it matters which came first, i was just trying to say that this is a fast and easy way, no matter which kind of computer they might have.

it doesnt work on 3.0.bcos i already transfer it on my iphone and i select it as ringtone then i call using my other phone but the ringtone is still the same from b4!help

Easier way: Buy a Mac. Open Garage Band. Select your song to edit or create your own. Export to iTunes as a ringtone. Done. Peace.
