The Bird's Nest looks absolutely stunning especially when viewed close up. Viewing the stadium on the TV does not do this structure justice. It is AWESOME.

I was worried about this design after hearing that plans for the roof had to be altered...but the velofrome actually looks FANTASTIC now! This may actually be my favourite venue for London 2012 (in terms of architecture). Good job!

Well I heard the velodrome was going to suffer big costcutting measures (like its planned wooden roof being replaced by a steel one)...but after seeing the images, I think it's fantastic :)
