  • It's a 10 minute music video featuring interracial romance and a two timing woman. Either this is a production before or nothing really changes. How cool.

  • @rwc82 I agree with you. However, the leading lady in this short was an African American actress by the name of Fredi Washington. She was from Savannah, GA :)

  • @ksharmaine Ah. I didn't know that. Isn't there something ironic about the idea that seeing images in black and white sometimes makes you unable to tell if the people in the images are black or white?

  • money rolls, car and clothes, thats how all my partnas roll!!!!!!!!!

  • Classic

  • I WANT one of those FANS!!

  • wish i could dance like that...

  • Never figured Cab for a lower berth. This does make you realize how far radio has fallen. We've got awesome technology now, but no great live acts on the radio/TV.

  • I GOTS TA GET ME THAT HOMEFIRE RADIO!!

  • Oh, technology...why you gotta advance so fast? People would be much happier if entertainment were still in black&white with captions...

  • its 2012 i agree the energy l

  • Thanks for the great upload

  • Jeez! I will love to dance with Cab Calloway!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • Saw him perform live. He was amazing. Just standing still not saying a word he made the audience cheer with a frenzy!

  • it seems like timeless, its 2012, but I feel they energy

  • This was B4 my grandparents were born. My grandpop was born in '35 and my grandmom was born in '38. LOL! WOW! Cab Calloway was the man though. Smooth.

  • Wow ! he shaking me when hes dancing !

  • The girl in this was named Freddie Washington, she was a light skinned black actress, in some movies she was in they put make up on her to darken her up so white racist back then wouldn't mistake her for white.

  • What's the first on they playing? (In the train)

  • So, pretty much, Cab Calloway will take your chic... lmao Nice!

  • thank ya Jesus!. I thought i'd never hear this song again!! OW!!!!

  • @opheliaroxs17 no probably mulata

  • dam if cab was any cooler he would be frozen!

  • @phophjoph You got that straight, Baby!

  • @phophjoph lol that's something Cab would say about himself

  • @phophjoph 30s were cooler than the 50s and it's all because of Cab. Shame more people don't know about him. Glen Miller ain't got shit on Cab

  • Cab headlined several Paramount shorts in the '30s [they were sold, along with the entire pre-1949 Paramount short subject inventory, to U.M. & M. for TV distribution in 1955, eliminating all references to Paramount in the opening and closing titles...ON THE ORIGINAL NEGATIVES]. I don't believe any of Cab's band members are alive today.

  • @fromthesidelines You're probably right that none of his band members are alive today. However, Cab's grandson, C. Calloway Brooks, is alive and tours with a wonderful show of his grandfather's songs. It played in my home town a few years ago and I even had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Brooks after the show.

  • @SIMPFANN i cant find any information on this man, send me a link please or imma call bullshit on you

  • I wonder if any of these guys are still alive??
