But even a lion does not have strong enough jaws to penetrate the croc's armor (lions have jaws about as strong as those of a wolfs- maybe slightly strong: a wolfs being 710PSI, and a lions being 730-750PSI). The jaguar and tiger do, but a crocodile like a salty or Nile crocodile is not on a jaguar's kill list, unless if it's a small specimen.

This video is a CROC. Crocodiles don't live anywhere near cougars, alligators do. Some Alligators and crococdiles can be over 20 feet long which a cougar would not want to mess with. Sure a tiger has killed a crocodile as well as vice versa but not a cougar.

Yep, that's an alligator. not a croc. And the cat is a Florida Panther (very endangered) however, they are a little smaller than a mountain lion (cougar).

well for one that isnt a crocodile its an american alligator please consult a field guide. and the results of predator prey conflicts, or competition between predators is often determined by size of the individuals involved in this case the gator was pretty small and could be taken by the cougar but larger gators can and sometimes do take cougars so it balances out i really dont think gators fear cougars

Down in the florida everglades the american alligator and crocodile regularly attack and kill cougars, also in india and africa tigers sometimes fall prey to large saltwater crocodiles in the water while in africa lions fall prey to nile crocodiles so big cats dont always win

Actually, larsblom, the gators that dwell in the Everglades have been known to prey on Florida panthers and black bears that live there. The gator in this video is very small. American alligators average 8-12 feet in length, but 16 foot individuals aren't uncommon, and those individuals can weigh about 1500lbs.

This video is a CROC. Crocodiles don't live anywhere near cougars, alligators do. Some Alligators and crococdiles can be over 20 feet long which a cougar would not want to mess with. Sure a tiger has killed a crocodile as well as vice versa but not a cougar.

The problem is getting their. And an alligator is faster than most people think. A cougar is nothing in comparison to a large alligator. The alligator wouldn't have to worry, the cougar would run, and if it didn't, 2,100 lbs of force would come down on the cougars head. No chance. And speed wouldn't even matter sense the cougar can't even break their skin. Maby on the belly, but it can't flip it over. Cougar's have only been known to kill gators twice their size, NOT four times.
