  • This is why I don't want kids.

  • and it's cute

  • IT'S A ALIEN!!!!

  • AND THERE'S ACTUALLY SOMETHING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA!

which is more than I can say about effects these days...

  • Not bad! I severely underestimated what kind of effects and old movie can pull off!

  • hair swag to the max

  • This movie is creepy, but holds an extremely amazing meaning behind it all...

  • David Lynch has a brilliant mind. Fucked-up, but brilliant.

  • Well lamb doesn't seem so appealing anymore

  • Everyone's aware that it gets brutally murdered right?

  • looks like a cute little dinosaur

  • i wish i had a premature baby. :(

  • this is just sad

  • aaawww <3

  • oh my god the baby looks like a fish had sex with a puppet

  • I think tat one of the most horrible thing in this movie is that it's IMPOSSIBLE to 'love' this baby .

  • i remember once when i was very young, i found a small bird on the sidewalk that was barely alive, it seemed as if it had feel from its nest and was abandoned and left to die by whatever put it there. I brought it home and set up a small makeshift nest and a desk light to try and serve as heat. I sat by the bird all night trying to nurse it back to health, The vet was closed until the next morning. Somewhere throughout the night the bird died. In someway i feel that relate to this scene the most

  • This is so fascinating, and the creature is a really great springboard for a lot of good ideas. I also think it symbolizes how all human babies really are. They're weak, helpless, and ignorant about how the world around them really works. The limblessness and bandaging symbolize the weakness & helplessness very nicely.

  • It has Henry's eyes

  • Weird, weird! Great!

    Thanks for posting.

I made my own edit of a Lynch film. See what you think.

    (Click my name)

  • GEZS CRIST THAT BABY NEEDS FIRE AND LOTS OF IT!.

  • This scene is breaking my heart :(( Does the little guy ever get better???

  • @PoseidonKross2009 No, it gets killed by Henry after he cuts open the bandages and stabs him in its vital organs with a scissors

  • "BLLLEaaaaaUUUUUUUUUGGGGhhhhhhhhh"

  • Poor little guy =(

  • i genuinely think the baby's quite cute

  • and then he was bacon

  • @mactazer I Lol'd

  • At about 2:55, he should go pick up the thing and then drop it headfirst into the big pot of soup you can hear boiling. After he folds it into the water like a bunch of spaghetti, he should start cutting up onions.

Sure it's sick, but it's not THAT sick. It's still good to eat if cooked thoroughly.

  • man, i didnt know i took LSD!!!

  • No matter how disturbing, no matter how deformed and alien-like, it's still a baby and deserves love. I personally love it.

  • @Konekoi That's part of what gives this film such emotional impact. Naturally, we're stricken by the baby, but it's not just a monster. It IS still a baby, I love it and sympathize with it, even though I'm genuinely disturbed by it.

  • I would kill it like a bug, kind of looks like one only more ugly and weird!

  • I would kill it like a bug!

  • I like turtles.

  • LMAO!

  • I think cute is what Lynch was going for. Or right on the border between cute and creepy.

  • 1:35 He's talking to David Lynch.

  • @macroevolve

    hahaha, good one!

  • Fell sorry for this baby. The baby from Combat Shock is more unsettling.

  • Its cry is actually much more soothing than any normal baby's lol

  • mercyful heaven oO!!!

  • I thought the baby was adorable the first time I saw it. Then it started bubbling. I changed my mind.

  • exactly 13,000 views!

  • @frostytheaussie Its so sad you noticed .i did that on 333.333 hahahahahahahahaha.

ugly little fuk i want one

  • Holy .. this is some really fucked up shit =P Looks cool though

  • awwww :(

  • When i saw this in theaters i couldnt sleep for weeks, not cause it was scary but more because i was pregnant O.O

  • @SimplyCoiguy same thing happens when pregnant women see Alien

  • @SimplyCoiguy eeesh really bad combo

  • And yet all i can think is... That creature came out of a human's vagina. Poor babbeh.

    Is it hydrocephalous, I wonder?

  • @SpartanJose777

    It's a cow fetus.

  • Poor thing. I wonder what it would look like as an adult.

  • I think its accually cute. I feel sad that its sick.

  • @LolisCandyPalace Me too, I'm sad

  • Yes, if you're used to Hollywood lineal movies, full of cliches and with a plot, this can be boring for you but keep your mind open and maybe one day you will enjoy this kind of stuff.

  • Someone told me that the 'baby' was actually a real cow foetus...

  • @chips858 i'm not sure about that. it could be true, though. lynch used real animal organs on the set of the film IIRC so its not to absurd a notion.

  • I feel the strangest form of sympathy for the little thing...and yet, when I do, I can feel the walls within my house bend and twist...What the hell?!

  • ITS SO CUTE

  • @godinthetv

    yes you are right

  • if u think about it, for such an OLD movie it looks so fucking real!! and the baby is kind of cute but when it gets sick....DAYUM.

  • Makes me wonder if it's actually real. Google the Harlequin disease... Oh man... I've flicked through few scenes and damn...

  • I would have been like, "jeez that's one brittle neck bet i could kill ya with one strike with this knife"

  • What the Christ?

  • Is that his baby!??!

  • love the blowing wind sounds. makes it feel cold

  • the crying makes it seem cute

  • love is love

  • "oh you ARE sick"

    lmao

  • I would have thrown that thing in a dumpster! Maybe he was holding on to a small shred of hope that it would grow up and play football at Michagan State.

  • Michagan sux

  • It's just like a horrible nightmare. Very well done.

  • does anyone know how david lynch made the baby talk and move? i heard it was a low budget movie and animatronics were really big deal back then.

  • Best guess, the head is attached to a puppeteer's hand or some other control stick through the other end of the pillow, which is rotated to make the baby's head move any which way.

  • I love David Lynch's films, but this one makes me feel horribly bad, because the atmosphera is black and I can't fell it in any other way... I think it's so painful, perhaps it may be not necessary, but it makes sense.

  • The "black atmosphere" as you call it makes this film so, horribly depressing..

  • jeezuz fukking kryst i love this movie

  • It's weird, I think about some pretty bizzare things, how come this makes me feel uncomfortable?

  • holy shit! it's the same sound I make when I cry out for my mum!!

  • wtf?

  • woah. holy crap.

    awesome.

  • wow. what the fuck

  • Wow seriously they knew that the kid wouldn't last, why not just put it out of it's misery.

  • its supposed to be a premature baby isnt it? this film is so weird.

  • the story is very basic, the baby is a strange being, but the film is extraordinary. you know, you hate to Lynch or you love him jejeje. greeting!

  • this makes me so uncomfortable

  • Normally stuff like this doesn't phase me but this made my skin crawl.

  • Any one noticed ?....the creature

looks like an enlarged kangaroo foetus./~

  • cute!
