stavo leggendo "Un antropologo su Marte", di Oliver Sacks, e la storia del Dr. Carl Bennett è quella che piu' mi aveva schoccato... e vedere questo video mi ha molto colpito e commosso.
That's my husband!! Here we are almost 6 1/2 years later and he is still tic free! This surgery was truly amazing and we are grateful for each day that passes that the DBS is working! We will be forever grateful to the doctors and nurses at University Hospital.
Well, I want to reply you by translating one of the comments in italian. Please make Jeff and his doctors read it, so they know how inspiring and motivating this story has been for all of us :)
See you!

These are the achievements humans can be proud of.
@Pyewacket723 thats great to hear i can only imagine how much better he may feel that he can do what he wants with his body and not be trapped in his own body by something he couldnt control
@Pyewacket723 This is amazing!! I am so thrilled for Jeff and for you that he is tic free and can have a normal life! My 15 year old son has Tourette's that came on pretty fast and furious about 6 months ago. So far his tics have been manageable, and we hope and pray they stay that way!! Wishing you and Jeff all the best for a blessed future and joy-filled life!
Just wanted to thank you for hosting this video, it's one of the more remarkable documentaries on TS, and makes it much easier for those of us who suffer from it to explain the condition, and explain why we don't just go and get a cure..
That's absolutely astonishing and mind-blowing. These kind of things make me proud to be a human being. Long live medical research.

Queste sono le opere di cui l'uomo può essere fiero. Donare il sorriso, un'opera geniale. Leonardo sarebbe sbalordito.

One Day, Sally was babysitting, when the old man from next door came and took the kids away. Sally was put to the chair 3 weeks later.
Post this in 10 vids and you will live
IF NOT HOWEVER, Sally will come bedside and kill YOU on the NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY. Also dont look in the mirror... She is watching
