omg you have many more options with yarn than i do...not that many craft stores where i live and walmart doesnt have that much of a variety either :c.....did u learn how to crochet, knit, etc. when you were little or later?
I have actually found good yarn at the thrift stores. i find projects people have made and donated to thrift stores. I found this one huge round afghan of many colors. together the colors look awful together so I unraveled it and ball the different colors and then I used them with the other yarn stashes I had to make hats and scarves and that the afghan only cost me five bucks.
are you a gay couple? And listen, THIS IS NOT BECAUSE YOU KNIT, I am a male knitter as well, it's just that it is sounding like you both live together. please don't think I am a stereotype. and If you are the I support you!
Ugh! I have so many projects I want to do and so many yarns I want to try. I became addicted to a loom last week and can't put it down. I love your videos. I used to crochet but it killed by hands and I could never get my stitching to have the right tension.
your videos are amazing: i've learn so much from them!!! right now i would like to learn how to detach from a color to start another color on the same hat but i haven't found how to on-line.
i found a trick that hepls to reduce the 'strings' btw the stitches and also makes the fabric look more like needle knit and helps add a little more stretch.... soo simple don't wrap your pegs...just lay the yarn on the peg and knit the stitch....
THis is a very small town, this is just a standard discount store. I promised the store owner I wouldn't identify the store... he never even questioned why I was filming though I asked first of course.

Personally, I really prefer giving business
to the "little guys" if I can. The specialized
yarn store in my neighborhood is actually
a bit more expensive than Walmart, however, the selection is much greater.
I have found that as Walmart moves departments around, they tend to devote
less space. I have actually found the
local Walmart's selection to be smaller
than the yarn shop.

wow that's more selection than my wal-mart. I have to go to Hobby Lobby an hour away to find good selection.

I wish I could find a store with that selection of yarn. Micheals craft store here is so limited.
