  • I hit 179mph on my 02 cbr600f4i but mine was modded it only hit about 150 something stock but nice video

  • the guy saying 155 is the top speed is a dork ! i have an 06 600rr and ive taken her to 163 actually riding!! i also had room to go so that claimed 177mph is pretty accurate id say

  • ma che video di merda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Didn't hit the rev limiter btw...that was just the shift light which can be adjusted by the user by accessing the gauge menu. Still a fun idea whether it's good for the motor or not...better than someone doing it out on the road when maybe they don't possess the ability to go that speed.

  • @tjpike88 Oh how do I do that then??

I can change the time, mph/kph etc...but how do i change where the shift light is activated? :D

And yes, I thought it would be stupid of me to post a video of me breaking the speed limit to that extent haha! I wouldn't fancy being woken up by the cops after seeing it on YouTube lmao!!!

  • @ultrapetey you can't change the shift light on this 600rr, maybe the new rr's can do that?

but these days most of the motorcycles can!

  • There is no load or anything on the engine transmission or rear wheel, thus it's totally inaccurate.

Top speed is said to be 166mph.

I've tested it up to 155mph.

  • @viprez586 My '03 600RR was bouncing off the rev limiter reading between 173 and 174 mph...it never showed 175 even holding it for a few seconds. We all know that at that speed it's really not that accurate so I'm sure the claimed 166mph is a lil closer to reality. Just thought I'd share my experience with my very similar bike. Check my videos for my new '07 1000RR! Later

  • Uhhh... That's real good for the motor. lol

  • Your motor now hates you for that.... When you rev a motor then shut it down, you burn oil off the cylinder walls, so next time you start it, its metal on metal.

  • @TheDarkDrums I shall apologise to her.

But you know what, I never knew that! It has taught me to never do it again though!

    Thanks dude!

  • @ultrapetey No problem man, My dad and I have been racing cars forever and we've blown more motors then id care to admit lmao :)

I had an 04' R6 until a few months ago.. it got stolen :( :( i only had her 2 months..!!

  • @TheDarkDrums Theft should be a capital punishment everywhere on this planet.

    That should stop the scum!!!!

  • @ultrapetey I know bro. I didn't have theft insurance either, so im still paying on it and i don't have it any more. I was off the bike for 45min. and it was gone. And i live in the middle of nowhere so they had to of scoped my house out or followed me home... but, i was doing 135mph the whole way home so im pretty sure it was them following me haha.

  • At least this is the safest way to do it...it sux you're getting so much crap about it.

  • aj kvragu

  • fake

  • @DeTexmoTeam

    LMAO what's fake about it?

  • @ultrapetey haha!! Over 250km/h in few secs on 1st shift? haha

  • @DeTexmoTeam If you read the info underneath, it says that the chain is disconnected - this means the engine and gearbox have almost no resistance, hence why it can go up to 172mph in a couple of seconds.

  • assholes

  • Who are the assholes? :-)

  • faggets

  • ???

  • thats well wrong,,no rider clothes, wind etc,,,,anyhow ive had 167mph out of my rr

  • idiot

  • Who's the idiot?

  • thats crap

  • What's crap about it? Does your bike go faster? :)

  • crap ,,no rider ,,leathers,,, wind etc poor i had 167mph out of my baby fully kitted with the wind behind me

  • Before I got the double bubble/full race system/k&n, I heard someone got 166mph out of my bike :-)

  • cool

  • o pior q já vi!!!!

  • lol, why go to hell?

  • go to hell !!!

  • This is like digital rev lol

Its on 1500 rpm and it says 15 km/h :)

  • 15 mph

  • yeah thats right its mph my bad...

  • jaja top speed? jajaja 280-290kmh cbr 600rr 2003con filtros de aire

  • MPH :)

  • the chain was off :-)

also, this is a 04. The CBR600RR changed in 05, so maybe that's why you can see 180 on yours :)

  • the speedo actually should reg 180 but ive topped my 06 rr at 162 on stock sprockets. how the hell did u get the speedo to reg if the tires r on the ground, or r they?

  • The speed sensor reads from the output shaft of the engine, not the tires. That's why a SpeedoHealer is necessary when you change the sprocket gear ratio.

  • @svt0304cobra the chain was disconnected and it was on front and rear paddock stands :)

  • @ultrapetey you are because your title is misleading, even though your description is accurate. its a waste of our time.

  • sei un coglione

  • Zzz...

  • i saw 172mph out of mine but didnt realise thats where the speedo stopped. lol

  • thats as fast as i have gotten mine, and that was with a full two brothers exhaust, im sure i could get a few more with my power commander and an extra tooth

  • the only problem there is 172mph indicated on a bike isn't 172mph indicated. my bike is abou t7-8% off

  • after 100 most bikes are off by 10-12%

  • that's a little high, like skyline said about 7 off

  • OK then ill go on the back. :-P

  • You'd kill yourself putting a helmet on Matt

  • 172mph...nice.. :-D Lets have a go pete?

  • So they can do 172mph ;)
