Sorry but those aren't real M-80's. The original M-80's were half the size of those seen here. They were filled with TNT and produced a sizeable explosion with NO SMOKE. I'm guessing that your Chinatown and Mexican firecrackers there do not contain TNT, but rather some weaker propellant...that's why they need to make them twice the size of a real M80.
