I like my Free Charger that comes with my phone + I use my phone while charging. With the Powermat your cell phone is unusable while charging. Big step backwards and Big Fail in my book. The dock is so huge there is no place to put it unless you dedicate a spot for it near and outlet. To big for it's own good + who the F*** has 3 phones that need to be charged at the same time Vegas won't touch those odds. Be smart and save your money. Got one for free hated it and can't even give it away.

With powermat you loose the cords, BUT you gain loads of cases and extra Equipment for your devices. (so we do't use the cables, but we have to buy a 30 dollar case for our iphone instead of just using the cable that comes with it.!? what the fuck this is retarded is plugging something into you wall really that bad that you need to pay another 30 bugs to avoid it!?) what is cool is what they did not show in this video is the ability to get a whole desk like this for example for kitchen devices.

And don't bring up the fact that iPod has a touch screen on certain models, because .. Well .. Zune HD conquers that. Ok so i have to PLUG in the mat, so theres a wire there, and i have to add a wireless receiver that is specific to the item i want to charge...so whats the difference, spend 10 bucks on a wall charger or 100 on the mat and 40 on each receiver, so a minimum of 140 just to charge 1 device or 220 to charge 3 devices...so 220 bucks to eliminate 2 wires...wow thats almost worth it....

You know I honestly don't want to put something bunky on a device just to get it to charge wirelessly. The iPhone is a good example. In order to make that charge, it's always going to be a pain. Now if I can actually replace the battery with one of those packs so it will not significantly change the bulk, I might go for it. The problem is a lot of devices won't support that.

It works by using magnetic fields. They rotate a tiny generator in the attached case to charge your device. Or magnetically push electrons through wires to charge. Your power plugs all work this way it's just self contained

The only diference b/w using this & what i am currently using is ermmm... that the mat can take 3 devices... So you have a mat on top of a table... why not just remove the mat and connect it directly.. Dont need to spend money.. Hence useless..
