These things directly violate the constitution, yet here they are. If anyone in power wanted one's guns to be removed, they would do it in such a way that resisting is nearly impossible. An armed revolution is probably going to be required at some point in the future, be it close or distant, I don't know. What I do know is that Obama HASN'T taken our guns, and as such we have no reason to revolt currently.
(Also, in case you were curious about what exactly the point to revolt is at, i.e. the big thing to keep your eye out for, it's when they start confiscating guns from everyone for no reason.)

I'm a bit different, I can be competitive but mostly I'm searching to understand more and share what I've learned. I've found that the most stimulating thing is learning the right questions. It's strange, that you attack me for being German. I did not kill anyone in WW2, but I now what our forefathers did. So there is a responsibility, but not guilt, when it comes to my person.
But another point: the Socialist States of Europe (they are not really socialist) have a better and cheaper health care system. Check life expectancy and % of GDP.

That doesn't mean socialism has that good an alternative. Our heath care was far superior when free enterprise was more balanced. I know, I lived at the time. You use a very typical method of distorting the truth by claiming socialism is everywhere & can't be avoided. It's an intentional perversion of the term "social" or "society". They actually represent the ill-informed and prejudiced views of a substantial portion of American society. If I'm an elected democrat and I give you $10,000 a year for no reason, you will continue to vote for me each election even if the $10,000 a year is bankrupting the rest of the economy, b/c youre coming out on top and you (an american citizen) like it. if a republican runs against me saying that its fiscally irresponsible to give you $10,000 a year, you wont vote for him, even though he is right, youre just happy with your handout.
