@Chizzbo1 Turbo timer has nothing to do with keeping your car running safely at higher than stock boost. It's just a nice thing to have to keep your turbo healthy. It's not hard to wait a minute before turning the key off.

@pleeeeep NEVER EVER recommend 'performance chips' to anyone. They don't really work. The number one thing to tuning any performance on a EFI car is to be able to read the o2. Get a wideband data logger, and, if you can, a stand alone ECU such as Vipec/Motec/Haltec/AEM/ etc... A chip can potentially harm your engine, not to mention you are totally blind to what it does to your car if you can't read AFR.

so that's about 14-15 psi of boost? could you guys do an episode on maximum levels of boost with different fuels (pump reg, pump premium, race gas), maybe even alcoholically based fuels and propane if your feeling racy. the reason i wonder about propane is many high performance snowmobiles running tons (not literally) of boost in my area are using propane, but the owners are hesitant to talk about their setups in detail. love this channel!!!! from Canada

@MrQBiiX no yo would want a GTR 34 or GTR 35 Skyline. The Silvia has been designed for drifting so its light at the rear you need to lower them or add a spoiler to get rid of the issue doing either makes the Silvia a cop magnet

@TheRacingwits The Legacy has a turbocharged 2L flat four.

The most recent GTR has a 3.8L twin turbo. The GTR in the video came with an 2L I6, although as you can see, it doesn't have an engine in it. It should be noted that the GTR in the video is a 1st gen. Less than 2000 made (I think). The more commonly known GTRs have a twin turbo 2.6L I6.

Now... I'm pretty sure you're talking about Moog's car when you say GTR. It's a Silvia. 2L I4. And please don't call subarus "burus." It hurts my soul.

Hey moog was it save running 1bar with no ECU mod?what's the number displayed on the wideband

@bluepanther99 the ecu mod is the bleed valve. it by passes the Stock boost controller and tells the computer its running the stock amount of boost when ur running more. the Wide band tells u ur Fuel to Air ratio. Normal driving the ratio will be about 14.1-1 and on full throttle it should lover to 13.6 i think. those are normally save levels. Any lower and the car is running lean and will cause engine damage and over 14 means its running to rich and will make the car run like crap.
