Hey guys.

I have a pair of kef reference model three speakers the same as in the video (just a dark wood finish) and I'm trying to sell them. So far my search has not been very successful. They are in beautiful condition and I have the gold feet with them too. It would be a great help if someone could tell me roughly how much they are worth and where (if anywhere) is the best place to sell. I know my dad paid a lot for them in the 90s but he has left them to me and they are not really doing mu

@889Tarzan Hi there, which finish are they Rosewood or walnut - if they are in mint condition they should fetch £800-£1000

if they have marks and scratchers / chips the around £400 - £600.

I like the piano version of Moonlight Sonata better. Kef ref speakers are a dream...room treatment with tapestry or something is a good advice. It would kill too much echo in the room..

nice system. You might wanna do some room treatment. Maybe put some things on the wall, and put a carpet on the floor. Wood floor tends to reflect sound alot, so you might improve the sound with that.

Hi mate. very interested in asking you a Q. I auditioned the MF A1 and MF cd pro last week with a pair of spendor A6's. Absolutely loved the sound but umming and erring about adding a pair of the 550ks that you have. They didnt have them to additon so thinking of taking a punt and just ordering them when I order the rest of the MF kit. How have you found these 550's? What do they add and is the difference between having them and not having them great? Tell me all!!

Buy a pair you will not be disappointed, the difference is a tighter more controlled powerful sound , especially if you like it loud!! i use mine as power amps with a MF cr control amp.

Read the what Hi-Fi review for more info, but i would highly recommend them

Thanks. Ive done lots of research on them and have read all the reviews I can find. I just wanted to hear from an actual customer of them instead of a techno babble of a review. The reason I would get them is I love the warm class A sound of the MF A1 amp but at only 36w its a little underpowered and may clip when pushed. I think these 550k babies may just be my answer. Thanks! Time to book another audition!

Hi my A5 is a cr5 pre amp, not intergrated, the super chargers however will work with an intergrated amp via the speaker inputs, see reviews WhatHifi.......the sound is awsome,dynamic and powerfull.
