  • This looks delicious! Thanks for sharing.

  • @kylewmcknight Thanks!

  • @quotidianlight As much as it seems to be dinner, I only eat my sweet potato around mid-day. I finally made this and it was super delicious. I cooked the sauce down to be thicker as you suggested to make good use of the juices instead of throwing them out. Since I don't like to eat carbs & fat together, I left the cream off the sweet potato to kind of balance things out.

I'm hosting Thanksgiving with a few visiting friends this week and think this will be the main dish.

  • @kylewmcknight If you tried this I do hope you liked it for t-day!

  • I think some people confuse "Paleo" and "Primal Blueprint" which is where the discrepancies between allowed foods comes into play.

    I prefer Primal. Good video!

  • @veriria Very good point but even among strict paleo there is disagreement and descent. The allowed and not allowed is variable and n=1 is an important idea that people new to paleo don't understand when they first start out.

  • @ksb100pr I encourage you to do STRICT paleo fir 30 days and during that time read Marks Sisson, Devany and Robb Wolf. Also read some of Cordain's newer updated articles and come to your own decisions and definitions. Paleo is a paradigm rather than a diet or universal set of rules. You have to find your own truth but you will. You already took the first step and that's the hardest part. Also, consider why are you doing paleo. That why will affect how YOUR paleo looks.

  • @ksb100pr Some paleo believe they shouldn't eat ANY neolithic foods, others believe you shouldn't eat Neolithic foods that contain anti-nutrients while still others believe they just shouldn't eat foods that make them sick. Regardless, Atkins and Paleo have significant differences. One focuses on Macro nutrient ratios and the other more on food quality. There are significant things to learn from them but even at the loosest they can be related but different. High carb paleo exists.

  • @ksb100pr The difference is that all people are different. What affects one may not affect another. My ancestors did not drink much cow milk and the majority of POC are lactose intolerant. My ancestors did and do drink goat milk though and goat dairy has no affect on me. In addition, raw milk has a different effect than pasteurized to the point that it may be medicinal. In my case, I allow some cream but not much and no cheese or dairy unless raw.

  • @ksb100pr it depends on who's version of the diet and your tested body reactions. Most allow alcohol like wine or whisky not beer or cocktails. Some allow cream or raw dairy some none at all. They all allow sea salt for cooking, not in process junk.

  • love it very simple thank you so much keep it coming.

  • GREAT MEAL:)

  • @cynmille2000 We really enjoyed it

  • thanks! looks so good. please do more vids.

  • @abbeymore1 I will, it was fun to make. Kinda hard since my camera's audio tanked but more vids will be coming

  • The dish looked lovely... Is there an alternative to using alcohol...

  • @Ateey68 Yes, you can poach fish in just water. you will want to add herbs to the water for flavor

  • That looks hella good and simple

  • @EbonyAbraxas It is and it can be switched up really easy. Very flexible recipe for sure.

  • this looks really good..only think i would do is cook it without foil on top of the pan..then it has a bit of crispyness and would hold the asparagus in place a lil bit better..i should try this!

  • @GBWunity88 Sole is a very thin delicate fish so you don't want to get it crispy or it dries out. But that would work beautifully with tilapia. The rolls actually hold together perfectly, I just snagged the first roll with my thongs lol

  • Wow that looks great! If I ever have kids I hope I take the time to fix them such healthy meals!

  • @brwnsunrise When you do it everyday it's just as quick as cooking out of a box or ordering and picking up from a restaurant.

  • mmmm, looks delicious!

  • @kneenee71 Thank you, It really was delicious. delicate and flavorful.

  • Wow! That looks awesome! I think I'll try this for my meat/fish day on Sunday.

  • @HappinessIsNow I would love to know how it turns out!

  • You just wait till my daughter moves out I am making this...ok i may make it before and make her eat

  • @TheLovelyRANDOMNESS Think positive. She'll probably love it, no need to "make" her eat it. Kids and teens needs to learn to eat healthy, cook healthy and feed their future families. It is actually very good and I bet she likes it.

  • @TheLovelyRANDOMNESS yeah but it has veggies in it..and she tends to run from veggies in any meals...i like to sneak them in...that is hwy i have to get a blender and keep cooking when she at school and not home......

  • @TheLovelyRANDOMNESS wow, it so hard to fix those habits once they're older. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. I was lucky in that we ate a lot of veggies from before I had them so they just grew up eating healthy.

  • @quotidianlight oh hell...and it is not just her....it is the GROWN ASS MAN TOO!!...let me fix black beans you think i have him eating ____!! or brown rice...oh my....the healthy stuff...they trying to kill me i think

  • i can't wait to try this!

  • @wagechi29 It's was very good. I love dover sole, versatile, wild and cheap!
