Wow, do you have any other way to do something big for jesus's day of birth? We aren't sitting there saying oh hail satan. We are doing things in a festive mood and giving gifts shows that like god gave us jesus christ to forgive us of our sins,we should also give gifts. And the tree leme do what you just did here in this video: The tree is an understanding of at the top of the world shines a star, the star of bethlahem Our saviour Jesus christ. U can make as many meanings as you want 2 anything
Bit like when Christians celebrate the Sunday. Where did worship on Sunday come from? That came from pagans too. The Catholic church boasts that they changed the day of worship.
God bless you all for putting this truthful information out. Shame on certain Christians religions who know better but practice Christmas customs regardless, this is more encouragement to keep me from celebrating that pagan holiday as my family stopped celebrating 27 years ago. Christian institutions stop placing that pagan tree in your seminary, chapels and churches.
We should do what the Apostles taught the Church to do without partiality. The Apostle's instruction to the Church -Ephesians 5:11-12 11 "Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even EXPOSE THEM; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret." (requires judgment to do)
2 Timothy 4:2 -"Preach the word; be instant IN SEASON, out of season; REPROVE, REBUKE, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine."
Again, it is arrogance to believe that anyone person can know the mind of God (including his judgement), and to claim that anything He does is simple borders on sacrilege. God is capable of proving us both to be right or for both of us to be wrong. I only write this because the condemnation of Christians and their beliefs concerns me. There are those (no implications) claiming to be Christians who seek to create schisms, we should all be careful.
@jag8s Its not arrogance to simply say what the scripture says. He clearly says not to worship Him the way the other nations worship their gods. I would hope that we could agree on that. Nearly every tradition of Christmas is pagan in nature & most of the world keeps to those same traditions to this day. Not everything is so simple & clear cut. But, frankly, Christmas pretty much is. We have a direct command about these things. And let me say this; there are schisms & divisions for a reason.
@PointsOfTruth God did make us free moral agents, people who choose to be ignorant will be so, at least this video showed them the truth plain and simple. Great work!!
You're making a judgement call, that is the exclusive job of the Father. We are children arguing the intent of the Father's command. Our job is to bring more of our siblings to the Father. I will not judge your actions as sin or not, that is not my responsibility, I will simply tell you of love and forgiveness that God has offered each of us through His Son. Basking in the love of God can lead to arrogance, be careful not to lose you way. God be with you.
@jag8s Its not a judgement call on our part when God already made the judgement. We're simply telling you what He said. Its not my judgement call when I tell someone that they shouldn't murder. Or that they shouldn't commit adultery. I'm just handing down the judgement that was already given. God made His judgement about worshiping Him like others worship their gods. Put that in conjunction with what we know about Christmas & its pretty simple.
@PointsOfTruth People don't want to hear the truth, lie for the truth, goats are goats. Western religion has no idea who God is.95% of them worship the other Jesus, the one transformed into an angel of light. Jer 10 sums it up, as does Amos 5:21-24, 26 . You are telling the truth, God hates it! The WORLD hates Christ, but all of a sudden on Christ Mass they love Him? Wake up. James 4:4 God hates friends of the world. This video is the plain truth.
Excellent video, thank you! If the Bible is the authentic Word of the Most High - and it is - then I encourage anyone who is celebrating x-mas today to provide Scripture that tell us the date and instructions on how to celebrate His birth. On other hand, we're commanded to remember to keep the 7th day Sabbath holy and to observe Yahushua's (Jesus') death through the observance of the Lord's Supper in Luke 22. So why observe a celebration that is not Biblical or ordained by the Most High?
I do not celebrate Christmas since bieng saved, Does my family and everyone talk bad about me now? you better believe it! Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'
@PointsOfTruth So not to put too much of a point on it, but why is there a nice Christmas setting in the background of your video? I don't disagree that there are a lot of pagan rituals incorporated into Xmas, but a "pure" form of Christianity hasn't existed for 2000 years, so I don't see how trying to discredit the holiday is positive to the faithful or useful to converting the non-believers. Are you suggesting that Xmas divides the faithful from God?
@jag8s I edited the video & wanted to give the information to the backdrop of a Christmas setting so that people could hear the words & see the background of just what we're talking about at the same time. Sort of to go into the "belly of the beast." And I personally believe that if someone partakes of Christmas, knowing all the information; where it comes from, what the scripture has to say about pagan practices, etc; that its sin. Its disobedience, plain & simple.
the people that really have a true love for the Lord and the truth will take this video serious and examine their own hearts n motives for why they celebrate Christmas, do you really do it for God or for yourself or your family or kids? I have a hard time believing a holy God that forbids pagan customs and images for his people over and over would be ok with us associating the birth of his son with traditions of pagan roots , if u really love God you should be alarmed by Christmas's history.
David made a new cart to transport the Ark. He loved God and wanted to bring the Ark to Jerusalem. But David acted presumptuously, not inquiring God's instructions. David danced before the Ark but God was angry and struck down Uzzah. Later David realized that he had not carried the Ark according to God's will and repented. David had carried the Ark on a cart, the same method the Philistines had done when they sent the captured Ark back to Israel. Christmas customs are methods of pagan worship.
Paul told the Romans that though people once knew the TRUTH about God they chose to exchange that TRUTH for a LIE and began to worship everything but the TRUE God. It's a shame and a disgrace that so many exchange the commanded Holy Days of the Bible for holidays which have their roots in paganism. Jesus said, "If you love Me you will keep My Commandments." Jesus said the 'MANY" will follow the road to destruction. "MANY" have exchanged the TRUTH of God's Holy Festivals for MAN'S holidays.
Christmas is a phenomenon caused by the message of Jesus' birth, for it is associated with a spirit of GREAT JOY & came TO ALL PEOPLE Lk 2:10. It still is hence the worldwide celebrations. The Christmas spirit of joy is of God & not Satan as some believe. When Jesus was born Heaven celebrated, the angels, the shepherds & wise men also. Like the Pharisees in Lk 19:39 & Judas in Jn.12:4-6,your opinion is wrong. Jer.10 is about GRAVEN IMAGES made of "MOLTEN" gold & silver & wear "CLOTHING" vs 9 & 14.
@Helixdakat In order for a non-believer to become a believer, they have to repent. Which means to "turn from their sin". God doesn't save people that will not repent. Christmas is chin deep in paganism to this very day. It absolutely did not become christian. If anything, most of "Christianity" has become pagan.
@PointsOfTruth So you are just going to give in to the pagans and let them control this time of year that we have been given by our government to actually celebrate a great religious holiday?
We live in a sinful world, and to NOT put forth Gods light through our lives, words, and actions is just as bad as turning your back on God.
@Helixdakat "Giving in to the pagans" in my view, would be to take part in it. Not in rejecting it. And I agree, we should put forth God's light through our lives, words and actions. But, I fail to see what that has to do with keeping a pagan celebration. God said that If you love Him, you'll do what he says. You cannot honor God in a lie.
@Helixdakat "You must not worship the LORD your God the way the other nations worship their gods, for they perform for their gods every detestable act that the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods." Deuteronomy 12:31. "For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter." Jeremiah 10.
@PointsOfTruth There are many ways to honour & praise God.The Jews in Esther 9 knew that when they CREATED The Feast of Purim which was not COMMANDED in Moses Law. We are free to celebrate Jesus' birth on any day, Rom.14 .Jer.10 is no Christmas tree but GRAVEN IMAGE vs14.Christmas trees don't wear 'CLOTHING' vs 9. It is made of wood. The wood comes from the tree. The tree comes from the forest.Tools are used to shape it into an image. Then it is worshipped as a god. That's the way of the heathen.
@SRamdhani1 So, tell me, SRamdhani1; why is that you bring the tree into your house then? What does it have to do with Jesus? Never mind that we have thousands of years of evidence that EVERGREEN trees where cut down and brought into peoples houses in observance of many pagan festivals to honor other gods. There is no denying that evergreen trees were used in the worship of pagan gods. The Jews in Esther 9 did not adopt a pagan festival & put God's name on it, so that argument is pretty far off.
@PointsOfTruth The Christmas tree is a specific decoration for a specific celebration.I have one but I don't pray to it or worship it. Pagans worship almost anything including trees. That does not mean trees are evil. What if it is discovered that they worshipped clothes? Will you go naked & condemn others who wear them? In Lk19:36 & Jn.12:13 people used palm branches & clothes to honour & praise Jesus. God's will is not only what is written, but what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
@SRamdhani1 I don't wear my clothes as an act of worship to God. That's where your argument falls flat on its face. You use the evergreen in connection to the worship of God. You bring it into your house and use it to "honor" God. But, it comes from the worship of other, pagan gods. He won't accept that. He said so. The Holy Spirit does not lead you outside of the word of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."- John 1:1.
@SRamdhani1 Wow! If you say Honor God in Jesus name, then your lips does not honor Him because you still observe the tradition of mankind Pagan Holidays. You can't have God in one hand and Satan in the other..You're either IN or OUT. As God says "You either be Hot or Cold" being Luke Warm having God in 1 hand and Satan in the other, don't mix!
@PointsOfTruth So Jeremiah 10 could also mean you can't have furniture as it is a tree brought into a house and shaped by a craftsman and adorned by silver and gold and hammered and nailed.
A christmas tree is NOT shaped by a craftsman and I don't nail it with a hammer either.
Also, It appears you want to give so much power to the pagans during Christmas by saying they created the tree, when GOD created the evergreen tree! You come across to me as a "False Prophet." Done!
@Helixdakat I don't put furniture in my house as an act of worship to God. That's the whole point & you're obviously missing it. The christmas tree has its origin in paganism- well known fact. You're bringing it into your house as an act of worship to God. He doesn't accept it. He said not to worship him the way the pagans worshiped their pagan gods. Having furniture doesn't fit in that category. However, having a christmas tree does.
@Helixdakat True,we who celebrate Christmas do it to honour God.They say we are worshipping a pagan god. These people think God is stupid. One man's Christmas can be ungodly & another holy, it depends on what's in his heart & only God can see that, hence His warnings in Rom.14 not to judge His people. But they continue to disobey it & want to teach us holiness. That's hypocrisy. People who don't have the Holy Ghost should not be teaching Bible, for the Holy Ghost is the Author of it.
@SRamdhani1 The observance of a pagan festival in God's name is not a matter of christian liberty. Neither is murdering someone, committing fornication, adultery, etc. He already made his judgement on these things. Its funny that the very ones closest to Jesus didn't feel compelled to keep a celebration to honor his birth, while they did however keep the holy days & the sabbath. Its wasn't until hundreds of years later that christmas was "adopted" into christianity.
@PointsOfTruth So a Christian who celebrates Christmas by attending Church, singing of Jesus' birth, giving God thanks for bringing Salvation to mankind, feasting, giving gifts to one another, decorating his home in honour to God, is worshipping a pagan god in your opinion?
@SRamdhani1 They're attempting to honor God in a way that he rejects. You cannot honor God in a lie. If you want to honor Him, you'll do what he says. "If you love me, you will keep my commandments". I am thankful & give thanks that Jesus was sent to this earth & born as a man to die for us. But, I don't have to attach his name to paganism in order to do that. If you want to celebrate Jesus' birth, that's fine. But, why Dec. 25? Why the christmas tree? Why use pagan customs?
@Helixdakat I think Christmas haters are influenced by Satan. For Christmas evangelises the virgin birth more than any Preacher can & he doesn't like that. They keep looking back to the pagan past, but the Bible says to FORGET THOSE THINGS THAT ARE BEHIND (Phil.3:13). If God wants us to FORGET, guess who wants us to REMEMBER? Satan, of course. Christmas is a phenomenon caused by the message of Jesus'birth. it is associated with a spirit of GREAT JOY & came TO ALL PEOPLE (Lk 2:10).
@SRamdhani1 "Forgetting the things that are behind" certainly doesn't mean forgetting where christmas comes from and clinging to it. It means forgetting his old ways & striving toward the "goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." The observances of Christmas have been with us much longer than the name Christmas has & these observances were all in connection to worshiping pagan gods. He said not to worship Him the way the other nations worshiped their gods.
@SRamdhani1 Think before you speak out loud because to me you are contradicting yourself and I think that you have interpreted the verse incorrectly. If we take your theory that we should forget the past then are you suggesting we forget that Jesus came to die for us? (Since that was in the past too) These guys have brought the truth to you and God is a God of free will hence the decision for you to take or leave it is yours. But don't ever mix it up with you vague interpretations.
This video is great! Deep meaning and most of all a line of truth. You can't make the truth sound like anything but the truth. Hosea 4:6 says "My people perish for want (or lack) of knowledge." People who don't have the Holy Ghost should not be teaching Bible, for the Holy Ghost is the Author of it.

Nimrod was an idiot... no wonder we used to call each nimrod in a derogatory way.

If you go back far enough you can link Christmas to the Stoneage Druids.
