(requires judgment to do)

2 Timothy 4:2 -"Preach the word; be instant IN SEASON, out of season; REPROVE, REBUKE, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine."

Again, it is arrogance to believe that anyone person can know the mind of God (including his judgement), and to claim that anything He does is simple borders on sacrilege. God is capable of proving us both to be right or for both of us to be wrong. I only write this because the condemnation of Christians and their beliefs concerns me. There are those (no implications) claiming to be Christians who seek to create schisms, we should all be careful.

@jag8s Its not arrogance to simply say what the scripture says. He clearly says not to worship Him the way the other nations worship their gods. I would hope that we could agree on that. Nearly every tradition of Christmas is pagan in nature & most of the world keeps to those same traditions to this day. Not everything is so simple & clear cut. But, frankly, Christmas pretty much is. We have a direct command about these things. And let me say this; there are schisms & divisions for a reason.

You're making a judgement call, that is the exclusive job of the Father. We are children arguing the intent of the Father's command. Our job is to bring more of our siblings to the Father. I will not judge your actions as sin or not, that is not my responsibility, I will simply tell you of love and forgiveness that God has offered each of us through His Son. @jag8s Its not a judgement call on our part when God already made the judgement. We're simply telling you what He said. Its not my judgement call when I tell someone that they shouldn't murder. Or that they shouldn't commit adultery. I'm just handing down the judgement that was already given. God made His judgement about worshiping Him like others worship their gods. Put that in conjunction with what we know about Christmas & its pretty simple.

Western religion has no idea who God is.95% of them worship the other Jesus, the one transformed into an angel of light. Jer 10 sums it up, as does Amos 5:21-24, 26 . If the Bible is the authentic Word of the Most High - and it is - then I encourage anyone who is celebrating x-mas today to provide Scripture that tell us the date and instructions on how to celebrate His birth. On other hand, we're commanded to remember to keep the 7th day Sabbath holy and to observe Yahushua's (Jesus') death through the observance of the Lord's Supper in Luke 22. So why observe a celebration that is not Biblical or ordained by the Most High?

@PointsOfTruth So not to put too much of a point on it, but why is there a nice Christmas setting in the background of your video? I don't disagree that there are a lot of pagan rituals incorporated into Xmas, but a "pure" form of Christianity hasn't existed for 2000 years, so I don't see how trying to discredit the holiday is positive to the faithful or useful to converting the non-believers. Are you suggesting that Xmas divides the faithful from God?

@jag8s I edited the video & wanted to give the information to the backdrop of a Christmas setting so that people could hear the words & see the background of just what we're talking about at the same time. Sort of to go into the "belly of the beast." And I personally believe that if someone partakes of Christmas, knowing all the information; where it comes from, what the scripture has to say about pagan practices, etc; that its sin. Its disobedience, plain & simple.

the people that really have a true love for the Lord and the truth will take this video serious and examine their own hearts n motives for why they celebrate Christmas, do you really do it for God or for yourself or your family or kids? I have a hard time believing a holy God that forbids pagan customs and images for his people over and over would be ok with us associating the birth of his son with traditions of pagan roots , if u really love God you should be alarmed by Christmas's history.

We are free to celebrate Jesus' birth on any day, Rom.14 .Jer.10 is no Christmas tree but GRAVEN IMAGE vs14.Christmas trees don't wear 'CLOTHING' vs 9. It is made of wood.The wood comes from the tree. The tree comes from the forest.Tools are used to shape it into an image.Then it is worshipped as a god.That's the way of the heathen.

Never mind that we have thousands of years of evidence that EVERGREEN trees where cut down and brought into peoples houses in observance of many pagan festivals to honor other gods. There is no denying that evergreen trees were used in the worship of pagan gods. The Jews in Esther 9 did not adopt a pagan festival & put God's name on it, so that argument is pretty far off.

@PointsOfTruth The Christmas tree is a specific decoration for a specific celebration.I have one but I don't pray to it or worship it. Pagans worship almost anything including trees. That does not mean trees are evil. What if it is discovered that they worshipped clothes? Will you go naked & condemn others who wear them? In Lk19:36 & Jn.12:13 people used palm branches & clothes to honour & praise Jesus. God's will is not only what is written, but what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.

You bring it into your house and use it to "honor" God. But, it comes from the worship of other, pagan gods. He won't accept that. He said so. Neither is murdering someone, committing fornication, adultery, etc. He already made his judgement on these things. Its funny that the very ones closest to Jesus didn't feel compelled to keep a celebration to honor his birth, while they did however keep the holy days & the sabbath. Its wasn't until hundreds of years later that christmas was "adopted" into christianity.

@SRamdhani1 They're attempting to honor God in a way that he rejects. You cannot honor God in a lie. If you want to honor Him, you'll do what he says. "If you love me, you will keep my commandments". I am thankful & give thanks that Jesus was sent to this earth & born as a man to die for us. But, I don't have to attach his name to paganism in order to do that. If you want to celebrate Jesus' birth, that's fine. But, why Dec. 25? Why the christmas tree? Why use pagan customs?

@SRamdhani1 "Forgetting the things that are behind" certainly doesn't mean forgetting where christmas comes from and clinging to it. It means forgetting his old ways & striving toward the "goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." The observances of Christmas have been with us much longer than the name Christmas has & these observances were all in connection to worshiping pagan gods.
