hey! i am an inglot lover girl! i have been hooked since shortly after they opened and they have a 2nd location in vegas at the forum ceasars shops, i went there in october, the store is larger than the new york corner store so i now hv 3 of the 10 pan palettes and i luv them! i wanna try their blush next. vegas had a 3rd location in progress when i was there also. im in the dc metro area and i can't wait til one come here! the shadows r super pigmented, i use my nyx jumbos for a base and POW!

It sounds like you had a great time here in NY, those swatches were so rich in color, jeez! Those cab drivers lied to you though, once you get in they must take you to your destination, it's in the "Passenger Bill of Rights", and that's for any cab licensed by the taxi and limousine commission. These cab drivers are the worst. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself though, you should bring the whole family and spend some more time one of these days.

@SongBirdC Yes she was real cool. I wanted to take the subway simply because I never had but I love to walk in the city. I KNOW how the weather can be. Last time I was there I felt like my whole face was going to fall the hell off. Sunday they called for snow but the weather was pretty mild so I chose to hit the streets. Really glad I did. NY and pigeon poops are quite synonymous! One poopped on my head too as I was passing under one of those municipal parking lots!
They are very beautiful but they can't be compared to Nars and MUFE. They are too chalky to be compared to them. I'm used to Inglot here in Canada, it's been here for years. Don't get me wrong, they are very good and affordable! I was very lucky to get them at $1/pan when they were changing to these new palettes. I wouldn't put them up there yet though!

Now don't get me wrong I LOVES me some NARS and I do like Makeup forever but the color selection of make up they had was larger and more eyecatching IMO than any of the displays I've seen in Sephora or other booths. I'm sure everything is not great but I'm tellin you every color I saw and swatched was like GORGEOUS! You know like when you see a special palette to die for, like the colors were like that!

There was a lot of traffic that day I guess Christmas shopping so it really was nothin to just get another one. I only use "tones" when highly necessary. For the most part I try to be easy. :)

It sounds like you had a great time here in NY, those swatches were so rich in color, jeez! Those cab drivers lied to you though, once you get in they must take you to your destination, it's in the "Passenger Bill of Rights", and that's for any cab licensed by the taxi and limousine commission. These cab drivers are the worst. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself though, you should bring the whole family and spend some more time one of these days.

@PenthouseChronicles I really did. Well ain't that some mess? Well you live n learn I guess. The private cab drivers were a lot nicer. I just remembered - that drive out of the city was like 40 dollars I only had twenties and gave him 60 he was like Thank you thank you I was like oh hell naw I'm gone need my change. I was still going to tip him even though we had to use my gps to get me to my meeting location! So I tipped hip 5 dollars and how bout he was clearly disgusted. ??? lol smh

i'm glad Sherri helped u she's one of my fav MAs there ... anna and andrew r great too... i live in ny but not in the city , but anytime in the city i spend at least $100 there ... i love love love inglots. i don't know about the one in canada but the products at the ny store r amazing... def better than mac and mac is one of my fav makeup lines... and it's defa great dupe for mufe and nars... you have to try their primers!!!

wait i just realized why didn't u take the subway to inglots... in this weather that's a long walk from herald square where lush is to time square where inglots is... anyway i'm glad u had a great time here!!! i think it's time for me to head to inglots to restock ... next time u go try the makeup wipes u get 25 for $4 and i love them... i ahve sensitive skin and it does irritate me and it takes everything off

@SongBirdC Yes she was real cool. I wanted to take the subway simply because I never had but I love to walk in the city. I KNOW how the weather can be. Last time I was there I felt like my whole face was going to fall the hell off. Sunday they called for snow but the weather was pretty mild so I chose to hit the streets. Really glad I did. Will check for those next time thanks for the tip!

Love, Love NYC. Went a few weeks ago. Feelin' you at the airport I hadn't been away from my family since 2005. got so anxious about the trip that I was thinking about cancelling but went anyway, had a blast and then wondered why I was making such a fuss about going.

NY and pigeon poops are quite synonymous! One poopped on my head too as I was passing under one of those municipal parking lots!
They are very beautiful but they can't be compared to Nars and MUFE. They are too chalky to be compared to them. I'm used to Inglot here in Canada, it's been here for years. Don't get me wrong, they are very good and affordable! I was very lucky to get them at $1/pan when they were changing to these new palettes. I wouldn't put them up there yet though!

@MounOkap Aparently so! Yeah the MUA said the same thing. I just wonder when it happened... Now don't get me wrong I LOVES me some NARS and I do like Makeup forever but the color selection of make up they had was larger and more eyecatching IMO than any of the displays I've seen in Sephora or other booths. I'm sure everything is not great but I'm tellin you every color I saw and swatched was like GORGEOUS! You know like when you see a special palette to die for, like the colors were like that!

they can't kick you out of the cab like that. new yorkers will just be like "well i'm not gettin' out sooo..... idk what to tell you bruh." and they will do what it is you asked. in new york everyone is scammin' and scandalous so you gotta be on your toes, keep a look out for danger and stand your ground. and you'll be fine for the most part. shit if you have to take a tone with someone then you have too but make sure you can walk the walk cause someone may wanna test you and that tone.

There was a lot of traffic that day I guess Christmas shopping so it really was nothin to just get another one. I only use "tones" when highly necessary. For the most part I try to be easy. :)

Yayyy, I love shopping in NY as well! There's a LUSH store by me in one of the GA malls but I've NEVER bought anything (gotta check em' out). Gurl yaaaas, INGLOT is the bomb dot com. I went for the 1st time last year when they first opened and that they didn't have nearly as much inventory as they do now *side eye* which means, I'm overdue for another trip! Thanks for sharing your trip, lol.
