there is something makes me so sad man when i select one of my virteses when it moves there is another virteses in the same one i am moving so when i move it, it do not move the whole shape plzzzzzzzzz help thnx for this tuts :/

You have lamina faces on your model. You extruded twice, and now there are 2 planes ontop of each other.

when i do this, only one side of the cube changes to the shape of the plane, where am i going wrong? thanks

umm...either hold shift and select both sides, or go into your settings in the attribute editor, (press ctrl a) and turn on mirror mode, or reflection.

I have my duplicate special set to "instance" mode instead of "copy"

when ever i try to move the green box that shows each camera away from the grid to get it out of my way, it's image plane disappears when I zoom in in my perspective view. eg. the farther the green box is away, the less I can zoom in without the picture disappearing. I have Maya 2009 Unlimited

are you sure you have the whole item selected? go into the special duplicate options and make sure they settings match his. if it doesn't work then idk why. if you cant fix something just upload a screenshot and ppl with be able to help you better.

You are using the new maya 2009. The colored selection is soft-select. Make sure to go to the tool settings window to turn that off.
