Newsflash! The church is flawed b/c the people in it are flawed, I'm included in that. But having said that, doesn't mean those outside the church can't pick up a Bible and read about compassion, forgiveness, redemption, true love, etc., etc., etc,.
It is the Spirit of God that draws a man to believe, not the lives of others. The flesh cannot draw a man to God for there is nothing in the flesh that compels a man to love God. There are every types and personalities in churches, and some churches emphasize different ways of teaching or sharing. Please don't paint all Christians/believers with the same brush. In every group, no matter what they teach or support, you will have hypocrites. Remember, "Christians aren't perfect, they are just forgiven".

The main reason why people don't go to church is because the very poor example MOST people who claim to be believers set. So why would a non-believer be drawn to sometime like that. When someone needs hope they get scripture and a gimmick when really a believer should offer themselves as Christ did.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God DID NOT send his Son into the world TO CONDEMN the world, BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD through Him.

You people need to come to your senses, and just ask yourself this. Where was your god when all the World Wars happened? Where was god when innocent people died?

@bravosection You are such a tool. Why aren't you complaining about the depiction of God in the Vatican, or in Meet Joe Black, or in Bruce Almighty. Wouldn't you hate to be compared to muslim extremists who not only hate it when Mohammed is depicted, but who are willing to kill over it?

Jesus did come to earth as a human but died and was resurrected and now is in heaven with the Father. We are not to worship angels, they have a specific job that God designed them to carry out. We aren't to worship idols and I haven't seen this movie so I don't know what it depicts. I am anxious to see it if it is available in my area and pray it will minister to some who haven't experienced the deep love of God.

@bravosection....No it does not say that.....It says you should not have any graven images( an object of worship) As long as you are not makeing this intending on worshiping it then your fine....Like you should not paint a picture of Jesus and then worship it as Jesus.....But i kinda agree i think its iffy to portray God/Jesus....
