I recommend this monastery to anyone who wants to get clean. The medicine is really miraculous and the pain of withdrawal is much less than if you try it on your own. Just be prepared for very spartan living. This place is not a day spa, and the Thai monks have very limited English, but they know what they are doing and you can trust them. Also there are a few western monks like Julien who can help translate if you have problems. Good luck!
