How many fifty something bands or singers get compared to a 20 something star. I remember watching this, I was about 14 when it happened and when they showed the girl when she was ill and then brought her out on stage I couldn't believe she had actually survived something like that. She looked amazing and healthy and I hope she's still doing well.
She is the best concert ever! Twice in concert and one promo at the Roxy when remaking American Pie, nobody tops her! Many artists cancel dates due to poor ticket sales, she adds dates. She is Epic! Say what you want, you really just look more like an ass doing it. LOL
Unfortunately, that concert was definately one of her worst, vocally-speaking. It's weird how she sometimes sings really good and sometimes it's just... awful.

@hidalgo699 Artistry, in the classical sense of the word, defines the amount of musical intelligence a singer has. Take the Live 8 finale for example. Everyone came together to sing 'Hey Jude'. Carey's live vocal improvisation far outdoes, IMO. anything that results from Madonna's 'superior music taste' in the studio. That same performance, Annie Lennox tried to improvise but looked like an amateur - and she's much more familiar with such music, being gay and everything. Anyway, to each his own

@ryoko12gendo I am Bulgarian, she had a concert a year or two ago, she came the day of the concert and left the country right after it, she had a closed room with all her stuff, and her agents she brought, she didn't want to speak to anyone from here, it was such a disrespect. The simple fact that she didn't want to spend more than a few hours and not even speak, or have any contact with local people tells much about what a person she is.
