People who werent at the game shouldnt comment. They rushed the field because 1) it was a very good game and ended very dramatically 2) It was against fsu who they have only beat one other time 3) the win made them bowl eligible for the first time in 3 years and lastly did u see how the team sprinted over to the student section? How could you not run out and celebrate with them? I agree it seems stupid to rush the field for a last place team, but if you were there you would have understood.

My facts are wrong where??? 01' and wayyy back in the day... Fact is Florida State leads this series 15-2 and has won the conference 12 of the last 14 since joining in 1992...Maryland has won 3 in the 70's 3 in the 80's 1 in 2001 and twice they were the "co-champion" in 1953 and 1955. So you have 1 since 1985 and the fact remains that UMD students rushing the field beating last place unranked fsu is close to the dumbest thing ive seen all season.
