I have to agree with some of the comments on here, I wasn't a big fan of Akerman's acting either, it just wasn't there. The other characters, however, were great. I'm sure everyone agrees with me when I say Rorschach was absolutely the best character in the movie :)

I saw the movie again last night with my newphew and it was bad. Every actor in this was horrible and was way too long. I would have to agree that Malin is bad in this. I do see some potentail in her but she would need to take acting classes to drastically change her style. She's already labled as "hollywood's worst actress" right now and I don't disagree. I still think that Jessica Biel is worse though. Anynore performances like that from her and she'll have that honor permentally.

The movie and acting was great. Everyone played their roles well. I'm not really into comic books and never heard of this until I saw the preview last year. But a friend of mine draws that stuff for a living and he just gave me the book. It's great. I glad they made a movie, otherwise I would have never known about it.

Why are people saying that Malin can't act? She's not that bad, just needs roles that she can real develope to her own. If you want to see someone who can't act at all watch Jessica Biel, she's so, so, horrible I want to vomit everytime I see her in a movie.

You either have it or you dont. she has been given role after role. She does not have it. Why do people feel they need to give this woman a chance? and stick for her? Same with Meagan fox. These women should not be in the game. PERIOD

id have to agree with you with megan fox...she is a horrible actor yet shes a pretty women...but malin she did "PRETTY GOOD" im not saying she was on top of her game as laurie ...she at least got most of her lines down just as in the graphic novel....so im pretty much awake kid..but i must ask you this if she wasnt that good on your thoughts...who should have took the role then? zack snyder made a good or you can say unique choice of the cast...but thats other ppls opinions and choices

I did see it tonight and it was all right. The action was great but over the top, and the acting was bad also. Not just Malin, but everybody else, so I wouldn't just pin it on her. Bad script, dialogue, directing was all over the place, didn't know what he wanted to go with it. I happen to be a director myself. So don't tell me to stfu. I happen to know what I'm talking about

Well you might be right about that I wouldn't know as I'm not a fan of Watchmen and have never read it... I just think you were a bit a harsh on her as she actually seems like a very nice and decent human being which is more than you can say about a lot of people on you tube.
