@J2OLDS That's what I taught the 15 year old to drive on, and what I'll be teaching the 8 year old to drive on when he gets older. It's good to teach them on no power steering or power brakes, and a manual transmission helps too!
@TexWillis, the model a my grandpa has....which only my brother drives has the original motor, runs great, Had it over 50 mph, we did a little police chase scene with dirt bikes...no camera, grandpa doesn't know we did that but it was fun as hell!!
Thanks for the ride. Love hearing those gears. It's great that you involve your kids. I like how your boy thinks that your truck is better then the new one. Thats great.. Keep it up.
One of the best vids of old cars/trucks I've seen.Love the doors at least nobody can slam 'em LOL.

You double clutching or floating gears?

@NathansBackwoods : That's straight up original engine and transmission. I double-clutch at times, but a lot of times, I just jam through them.

Yessir, that's 12 volts. Original points and condenser though, I just dropped a 12 voly battery in and put the alternator in.

That's the best Model A I've ever seen-- air compressor and all. Do you have 12 volts on that? That starter really spins 'er over.
