Ive always loved Yoshimitsu since i first got Tekken in my hands. ANd i definately have to say that Yoshimitsu in Tekken 66 is a bit annoying to start off with after 4 entire other games with him using the same moves with some new stuff added like the Manji Dragonfly or Thunder Blade. He had the most changes out of every fighter in the 6th game, but he is sitll my favorite fighter ^^

Tekken 3 had the best looking Yoshimitsu in my opinion.

He's a kind thief. He's a space ninja. He's an alien. He's an automaton.

They should just cut straight to it:

It's true too. Fighting a good Yoshimitsu is like battling against insanity itself. The harder you try, the more you get your ass kicked. That's totally Zen.

Awesome! haha I love youre description, but hes based on a character from Japanese folklore. Yoshi is a demon thief who helps the poor. (like robin hood) And his fighting style is the ultimate cross between the deceptive movements of a samurai and the deceptive tricks of a ninja. And youre right, the more you try to counter it, the more you find that you get deceived. Best way to fight him is to keep ur mind blank and at peace. (Total zen again ;P)

@Karmoon7 According to the unlockable features of Tekkens 1, 2, and 3, he's a Robin-Hood type pirate turned cyborg piece by piece (beginning with his arm) by Dr. Boskonovitch. As the Tekkens progress, he becomes less and less human until he's basically a skeleton cyborg in Tekken 4.

Using Yoshi at high levels is more satisfying than any other character, in my opinion.

You control the entire match - even to the point that you lose health and gain health exactly when you want.

When you're fighting someone who's scared of you and you stab yourself, it's just awesome.

@Karmoon7 However, Tekken 6 Yoshimitsu is EXTEMELY hard to play with. While I managed to get a pretty good hold of Tekken 3 - Tekken 5 Yoshimitsu, controlling Tekken 6 Yoshimitsu gives me nightmares. I love his 'Kincho' stance, but I'm almost dissapointed at how hard Yoshimitsu has become to play. He's definitely become an expert character, and probably the most difficult character to learn, next to Lei.

From 2:36 to 2:54 is my favorite part of this song. If Im fighting over 5 rounds in arcade mode & if Im in a hellacious fight/having trouble against Yoshimitsu on Hard difficulty, I always pause the game @ that point juss to get a breather & create a dramatic ending to kick his ass either with Jin, Eddy, or Law. By the way, Yoshimitsu is my 3rd favorite.
