Modeling tutorial in Maya - a tire tread - Part 4: the side and UV layout

How did you select all the faces "loop" along the side of the tire? When I double clicked one face, it selected the whole tire, not the row of faces along the tires side.

@razorblade42069 what happens if you select a face, then select another face along the line you wish to select your faces then double click on the 3rd polygon in the line, it should work..
