  • I didnt even know what a garter was. Maybe its not something done in England, Im not bineg all stuck up or anything, its very good :D Thumbs up :]

  • @NickyDeLys It may be more of an American wedding tradition...not sure. Thanks :)

  • @NickyDeLys Garters are traditional in the UK too. Normally either white or blue to be part of the "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". There is the growing tradition (1 I'm not personally a fan of, but some people like it) of the bride throwing the bouquet to the women, & the groom throws the garter to the men. You can get them in fancy dress shops to go with costumes like nurse, french maid etc. & you can get them in bridal and lingere shops for weddings etc

  • very nice love the idea!!!!

  • You do mention it every week. :)

  • My throw away garter that I made was a mickey mouse camo with lace and a moose button in the center. My keepsake garter was just some nice white lace with black ribbon.

  • @dierdrelefae That's awesome that you had a Mickey one! I made my keepsake garter today with black toile (sp?) and blue ribbon; it is so pretty :)

  • You're just too clever, can't wait to see the arm garter, that's a very interesting idea :)
