I am fully bilingual and the lyrics should be read like this:

"tendrás a tu hombre, piel morena = you will get your man, dark skin one (referring to the darker, cinamon skin color of the gypsy woman).

i'm a spanish speaker i dont know to much english but i think u got it wrong

tendras a tu hombre-> you'll have your man

piel morena it's an adjetive -> dark skinned

adjetive goes after the noun in spanish

so it should be "you shall have your man dark skinned"

the moon is talking about she will give her a gyspy man.

im not sure but i think the best translation to "que pretendes hacer con un niño de piel" is simply 'what do you pretend to do with a baby child'..

"piel" is a noun and the adjective for it is "morena". in the song, the moon addresses the woman by saying "piel morena" and tells her she will have the man she desired. as for "un nino de piel", the woman refers to a human/mortal child, a child of flesh and blood.the moon is depicted as a higher power, a being that trancended the human condition.

YES you can say "mi niño" to your son, but it still means "my child". My mother calls my son (her grandson) that, just as I call him that but the meaning is still the same.

At the end the man believes she cheated on him because of the appearance of the boy and kill her, abandoning the child on a mountain. The moon takes the boy, so when the moon is full is because the boy is happy and when is not is because the moon is taking care of him; the song is based on a legend

@leesha spanish is spoken differently in many different spanish speaking countries... it may not totally be wrong what he's saying... nino is kinda more "young boy" then child anyway... plus in a sentace in spanish you can say el es mi hijo or el es mi nino it'll still generally mean the same thing
