Well we all know just how much a capitalist Paula Deen is now. It is what she portrays as healthy now that is the problem. Will I continue to be a fan? Probably not. Her credibility is pretty low at the moment. I am not likely to pay much attention to anything she has to say now. I have never heard her talk about moderation until this video. But I do LIKE Jose Andres view and take away points. He has nailed the issues here in a very concise fashion and speaks the truth.

I don't have an issue with Paula Deen's career, but I have an issue with Paula implying that she can control her type 2 diabetes with cutting back on sweet tea and talking walks. I have been a type 2 diabetic for three years and totally had to change my life in order to control and maintain my health. Shame on Paula Deen. It is hard enough, emotional enough, and now she is trivializing diabetes. I would NEVER buy a diabetic product she endorses. I hope other diabetics feel the same way.
