Look nervous? With the way DBC attacked AGBell ever since? I'd say he looks a bit guarded than nervous not knowing what to expect from DBC. The protest, er, ahem, "rally," outside the hotel wouldn't spark much confidence and expectation from the people of AGBell.
I'd say Jay did well and answered positively to the interviewer's questions.

*pondering all night along* How the hell Jay can hear the interpreter's voice and speaks well even he was born profoundly deaf (I can see he wears CI) .. And he knows some signs. Why not just Jay and Patty can sit down and communicate without using the interpreter. I am dumbfounded by this. I feel umm ambivalent about him.

Jay depends on oral interpreter that wasn't in the screen of video. Jay watched oral interpreter after ASL interpreter spoken from my questions. He did not depend on cochlear implant to listen ASL interpreter's voice...
He depends on lipreading, oral interpreter, cochlear implants while Ruthie use one ASL interpreter.
