the shadow puppet show .. dated in Malay peninsular long long time ago .. hindu period before the rise of malacca sultanate. yes it was from indonesia as some of the malay states in the peninsular was once majapahit n srivijaya empire. but then, the story came from india where hindu originates... hence, truly asia.
