Thats right we are a unique group of folks up here... we still believe in sharing, giving and caring for a friends and neighbors. We look out for our own. God Bless this great state we live in. Ignoring all the political stuff we are a great state!
Thank you for sharing...it brings back memories...having lived in Jefferson for 10 years, the winter scenes you shared brought back memories on Bunker Hill Road (Rte 213). Also I think that lighthouse in the video was Pemaquid?...and of course the voice of Malinda Liberty, who used sing Saturday nights up at Crystal Falls in Chelsea, Maine. Thank you for bringing me back to a time I miss so much!
Wow. . .I grew up in Maine listening to this song, and have since then moved to Georgia and my family has just now begun falling apart. Listening to this brought back so many amazing memories, as well as bringing tears to my eyes. I would love to go back to Maine, where everyone is so kind and care free.
I lived in Maine 1 month shy of 27 years. I've lived in Virginia, Tennessee and now I live in New York. The part of New York I live in VERY MUCH REMINDS me of Maine... Though I've come to really like this part of New York, I VERY MUCH MISS Maine.
Great job! This video was sent to me by a friend because you have uploade a pciture of some of our residents a few years back listening to Christmas songs at our facility. This is a small world for sure.
Been listening to this song for years. It is a tradition of mine to listen this at least once. Makes me love the state I am from more than ever. Love being born and raised in the best state ever! LOVE MAINE! :D
This is a wonderful video. The songwriter, Con Fullam, lives in Windham, and just produced an album called the Amazing Music of Mainers featuring some of the best musical and vocal talent to come from our state. Con is also the co-creator with his wife Maura Clarke of The Wompkees, a children's animation program. They have a kiosk at the Maine Mall through the holiday season, where you can find all of these things, including the Maine Christmas Song on CD.
I am from Maine.. I have been looking all over for this song, thank you so much for posting. I have lived in Cali for over 2 years, there are many things about Maine that I do miss, This song being one of them. Again thank you for this. :)

Lovely song & video, but the lady singing sure doesn't sound like she's from Maine! Sounds more like a southerner!!

@babsy364 I knew a woman who never and I mean never left Maine's borders and she sounded like she was STRAIGHT from Georgia.
