I was living in Pacifica in 1987, but I don't remember the soundtrack. Fog Fest. Moonrakers. "Fuschia capital of the world?" I missed that. This makes me nostalgic.
There are all sorts of these little nooks scattered all over the California coast and some great places a bit inland. A lot of people only think the great parts of CA = LA, Ventura, San Francisco.... There's so much more to it, it's a shame it gets such a bad rep.
How weird, I love Donna Summer's Dinner With Gershwin, and I live in Pacifica. It was meant to be.

Oh my goodness! I never would've known there had been a commercial for Pacifica before I was even born. :)
I find this somewhat comedic. Pacifica is still rarely known to other California citizens today.
