There needs to be more bosses than just a helicopter and a tank. Different music would also be nice. I commend you for playing this game long enough not to lose patience with it.

I guess this has been recorded on an emulator? The speed is far too slow. The real arcade version is much more hectic.

The music is not playing correctly, which is why it sounds lousy. I wonder if the emulator had problems emulating the sound chipset?

Well, if you pause the vid exactly at 10:19, you can see that a missile hits the chopper but both objects stay unharmed. ;)

The player is a real pro though.

@NOTHlNG I think he used sprite-cheat. Check the final stage run - the heli's got several direct hits by missiles but no effect. Well, it's a longplay so it doesn't matter. The player did a great job as you said.

Arcade version is much better than Amiga. Amiga doesn't even have in-game music since it doesn't have enough sound channels to handle music + FX simultaneously

Arcade conversions aim for faithfulness, and I can assure you the Amiga version is not exactly true to the arcade version.

If you have ACTUALLY played both and found the Amiga version more enjoyable for whatever reason, I'll pass. But as it seems you have only played the Amiga version and only watched this video of the arcade one. So don't judge hastily.

P.S. I'm a longtime Amiga user and fan.

@foxmakeba This is NOT the real arcade game but an emulated version that's completely unaccurate (I have the original PCB which is much much better). But you're still correct - the Amiga version is better than the "real thing"!

Amiga's advantage over this version is the lack of music. Yes Amiga has lesser graphics but as we all know by now... It's not cover that flavours the cake.
