  • But great video GhostDog like always :D

  • I think Monte Cassino is nothing the Allies should be proud of.

  • I am Brazilian! And I think Sabaton should do a song about the FEB (Brazilian Expeditionary Force)

  • Ghost. Mój pradziadek walczył pod Monte Casino. Dzięki za super teledyski i Sabatonowi za utwór. Chwała Bohaterom

  • @funykox999 Cała przyjemność po mojej stronie. Chwała!

  • This should be the anthem that plays when the UN goes marching through some random country it is "peacekeeping" in.

  • These videos are amazing, never seen better.

  • To arms under onder one banner ...

    As one fighting together ...

  • German and italian soldiers deserve more than a "recognizion" they endure a superior attack on a ruined position from every flank that were aviable and fight with honour...

  • Невероятни песен и клип !!!

    Awesome !!!

  • @krass68 Thanks

  • 3:55 najlepsza część

  • Every time I want to listen Sabaton on youtube, I search for GhostDogs videos.

  • @rak1445 good to hear that :D

  • British, Americans, Canadians, exiled French and Poles, Italian partisans and defectors... All united against the Nazis and the Fascists. Thanks.

  • @ludoalta brazilians too, Montese, Monte Castelo and others Battles. ^^

  • @ludoalta It's why the battle is sometimes unofficially referred to as the "battle of many nations."

  • Make a video of Corrodeds Age of rage... also a great war inspired song

  • In the event that I have to make a history report, can I use your videos with my papers?

  • @UndyingHunter1 Of course :D

  • @GhostDog780430 Thanks very much!

  • @UndyingHunter1 you're welcome

  • My great grand dad served in Italy. He stepped on a land mine while leading his squad through a field, just one of the many Canadians to die in the war.

  • I'm Italian, and I'm sincerely grateful to all the brave allied soldiers who fought and died to help us getting rid of nazism and fascism.

Oh, I was forgetting: beautiful video, thank you !

  • Sabaton: best history teachers ever!

  • @gearsofwarpriest No, GhostDog is better...

  • @Brandonisjesus86 Thanks mate.

  • No dislikes why am i not suprised

  • It's great to know not all teachers are boring...

  • @gobbitop554 Thank you!

  • Za wolność naszą i waszą...

  • Nobody could do it, but Poland did it! Pozdrowienia dal wszechwiedzących amerykańców!

  • ale tacy bydlacy zostają bezkarni i żądzą światem...

  • To AndreasHandig: Because it really cracy captured Monte Cassino, our "comrades" they let us to the slaughter, saying that the army is united together won this shitty Monastery

  • Respect to all the soldiers who fought there, but FM Harold Alexander said this:"No other troops in the world but German paratroops could have stood up to such an ordeal and then gone on fighting with such ferocity", and yes he led the allied forces. And no this nothing to do with nazism, but think about it: Thousands of shells on their positions daily, occasional bombing runs (with B-17´s!) and being outnumbered 10-1. Got to be the toughest warriors of all time (the Fallschimjager)

  • @hjorturerlend

Allies attacked fortified mountain position, cannot use primary advantages over fallschimjager (tanks) - yes, fallschimjager fight with ferocity, but to be called toughest warriors of all time? Very doubtful, at least on same level was German Africa Corps, American 101st division or US Marine Corps... and many others

  • mój przodek został ranny pod Monte Casino, przeżył wojnę jako żołnierz... zabili go na dworcu, bo nie miał tyle papierosów, aby się podzielić... świetny film, z pewnością gdyby żył to mu by się spodobało, nawet bardziej ode mnie

  • @Haregar Takich bydlaków powinno sie usuwać ze społeczeństwa! Zamykać i skazywać na ciężkie prace fizyczne! Po czymś takim inaczej podchodzili by do życia...

  • @gregor1985pl

uciekli, świadków nie było... ranny wojak powrócił do kraju mimo że władza go nie lubiła jako tego co walczył za granicami Polski... :( zmógł Niemców, zabili go bydlacy

  • Shame that they bombed Monte Cassino, not only destroyed a historical monument but also made the Germans more entrenched in their positions.

  • I love when two dudes fight over old battles its like seeeing napoleon and god fighting over a glass of water

  • @SuperSwedishBear welli saw it first... now u got three people fighting for it

  • remember what happened AFTER the battle too... check "Marocchinate" in wikipedia, read what the french expeditionary force did to the population... a mass rape of women, children and MEN... omg that's just unbelievable how no one did anything to stop it... nor the british or the americans.

So, do you still think nazis are the absolute "evil" side? i "think" those beasts are far way worse, i challenge anybody to confute me

  • @flecter totally agree good point there!good to see someone has an open mind...

  • Many harsh desicions are made in war. But when the enemy guns down troops in a house of god. Then may god have mercy for I would not & blow the shit out of themand out of that holy house.

  • @MrLoudguy2 mostly by the allies huh their sins will never be forgotten.

  • @SuperTigerNo1 wha?

  • @MrLoudguy2 monte cassino !!!! sob sob !!!

  • @SuperTigerNo1 K. would rather see ur comrades in arms die by the dozen or would u rather sacrifice a house of god to save countless more.

  • @MrLoudguy2 hello the destruction of monte cassino didnt save any lives because the germans had left the place with all its stuff and even informed it it the allies , so why did the allies bombard the house of god ?

  • @SuperTigerNo1 Maybe the nazis message didnt get through maybe a few of them remain and disobeyed orders to leave. I mean look near the ending of the video u see british troops still fighting even in the ruins of the place.

  • @MrLoudguy2 yeah just about 30-10 facist italian not german soldiers stayed there but such few numbers so the bombardment was not needed , anyway germans actually fired on the british from other hills!!! (destruction of house of god and waste of shells!!)

  • @SuperTigerNo1 ok. how the hell are troops going to see where they are being fired upon.

  • @MrLoudguy2 with their eyes.

  • @SuperTigerNo1 .Dude go back to history class and take military training. Then come back to me if u can see the fucking enemy with ur eyes.

  • @MrLoudguy2 you said to me "where they are being fired apon" and to a soldier that will mean the place he has been hit!! actually he wont even need to see where he has been fired at coz he can "FEEL".

  • @SuperTigerNo1 But u said they were firing from other hills so where do shoot then?!

  • @MrLoudguy2 they used snipers to hit from other hills while the allies were busy climbing monte cassino , lol the allies needed to retreat and bring their own snipers.

  • @SuperTigerNo1 U wanna know what? I'm done with this arguement! The destruction of the Monte Cassino happened and theres nothing u or I can do to change it.

  • @MrLoudguy2 "the holocaust happened a long ago and there is nothing to be done thus hitler was not guilty and he was great as he united europe and took germany to great heights" ,what you said is same as saying this. --_--

  • @SuperTigerNo1 like I said man im done talkin

  • @MrLoudguy2 yea same here but remember one thing the war crimes of the allies equals that of the axis in ww2 , there was no good or bad in this war and we (people of germany) are not to be criticized for all the the war crimes that occured in ww2 and post ww2 times. And these things happened more than 60 years ago.

  • why does everyone think the french army was/is pussys, they withstood alot of attack without help, what would you do if a gang just threw you out of your house, i would call for help, the nazi attackt paris and that made the french call for amarika in need for help!!

  • @wolfaboy They got 'thrown out of their house' because they were too worried that the war would harm their beloved city of Paris.

  • (Sorry for my bad english) The Brazilian Soldiers fought this war and they dominated Monte Castello \o/ Hail from Brazil and to all the allies!

  • It is very possible that none of the supplies landed in his sector of the city. Afterall, a heavy wind could blow supplies into enemy hands quite easily. But the fact remains that there were several attempts made, and in fact, of the planes lost several had polish air crews serving in the RAF, and they are listed as having been killed in the attempt. Also remember that perpsective of the event while it is occuring is rarely anything close to realistic. It's called the "Fog of War" for a reason.

  • US never forgot poland, only the allies they made deals with at the first of the war. WHy is Poland first NATO eastern European country? We have many Polish Americans, and we have much history shared. You have had a harder time because of geographical location. :( But we are with you now, and no one will ever threaten Poland Sovereignty again.

  • @Lerathe You only like us cause we are next to russia im sorry man but thats preety much the only reason why you like poland. you the brits the frnch abandoned poland during ww2 you never cared until france fell

  • @thelittlemind Actually the U.S. never cared about any of it until after Dec. 7th 1941, which is why for us the war was so short comparatively speaking. As for France falling, that really wasn't that big of a deal to most Americans at the time. It was our bond forged by perhaps one of the greatest statesmen in the last two-hundred years, (Winston Churchill) with FDR that helped catapult us into the war. Also: No one in the U.S. cares about Russia really either. We play MMOs together now. :)

  • @Lerathe Also, remember our troopers weren't the ones that stopped a few hundred meters away and watched Poles dying. Western mentality would not have allowed that in 1944. We and the British were also the ones who dropped supplies and medicine on Warsaw during the uprising. So I think there's a little more than your proximity to Russia to consider.

  • @Lerathe you never did a dropping of supplies so quite that bull. the last time you airlifted supplies to anyone was to west berlin. There wasnt any troops from other countries in poland. and even now USA only like POland Ukrain etc cause we rae next door to russia.

  • @thelittlemind What are you talking about? Seriously? You're right our soldiers weren't in country they were across Europe, I never said they were. And yes, both the UK and USA did airlift supplies to the uprising in Warsaw, from Italy. They lost 33 aircraft in the attempt until Stalin finally gave them permission to use Russian airfields. What are you talking about?

  • @Lerathe NO airlift happened in warsaw i know this because my grea great happened to be one of the main officers who lead the rebellion he told his son his son passed it on etc all the way to me so no bullshit about airlift to warsaw. i rather believe someone who was there then someone who wasnt there and wrote a book on a thought of doing an airlift

  • @thelittlemind im polish and he is is tolking trou american and brotish was tryining to help us but stalin didint afford for starting from his teren so supplies was from italy but very fiu get to polish soldiers and it was only for one week then they foth that is over , in the over we was alone

  • @Dominikize there wasnt an airlift though... look through every page of history about poland no where do you see allies droppin supplies from the air. that was the BERLIN AIRLIFT where the americans flew supplies to EASTERN GERMANY which isnt even close to warsaw

  • @thelittlemind o my god.... ok i see that you will not bealive me anyway check on wiki :]

  • @Dominikize wiki... really.... how dumb are you.. 1 wiki is a good site to get back ground but not FACTS... there is nothing about Allied air drops to poland if there is please send me a link please do...... if im wrong i want proof... your not showing me proof your stateing that i should look up a myth... its like asking google how to find the fountain of youth..... so please do tell me a link to a site that has facts about allies dropping supplies to poland.... please do

  • @Lerathe lol

  • Nice but I want to see the whole movie can you tell me the name please?

  • @assholeoss Le Grandi Battaglie - 1944 Monte Cassino l'abbazia all'inferno

  • why a polish flag in the end?

  • @AndreasHandig In the early morning of May 18 a reconnaissance group of Polish 12th Podolian Uhlans Regiment found the monastery abandoned and raised a Polish flag over its ruins

  • werw did you take the video? is form a film, or what? Great video! Hail from Italy

  • @CanDaCalci its a document

  • werw did you take the video? is form a film, or what? Great video! Hail from Italy

  • I've heard that general Ander had to give an order which prohibited falling upon land mines. Some soldiers were knowingly walking on the mines to blow them up. Suicide to let other make progress. I don't know what to think about it. Extreme dedication for good purpose or madness?

  • I agree, good video!!

  • @Belfson Thank You Sir

  • I agree, good video!!

  • Good video!

  • Thanx :)
