What melted the airliner was it's contents, seats, clothes, ect. This fire was replicated by investigators and ceiling temperatures reached 1,100 C. The twin towers with computers, seats and desks would burn hot too. Certainly enough to turn aluminium molten orange 870 C+ , soften steel and make it glow orange 880 C+.

The intensity of the fire grew while the evacuation was in progress, and shortly after the completion of the evacuation, the fuselage was engulfed in flames. The cabin furnishing, carry-on luggage, and cargo hold contents sustained the fire." I think the point remains the fuselarge fire was sustained by the contents and melted.

It would be easy to destroy the building with thermite. The columns were square tube steel about 30' long. It would likely have a cap on the end to prevent debris from falling all the way to the bottom. Remove the ceiling tiles next to the column. Drill a hole in each of the pillars, blow in a few hundred pounds of thermite, add an igniter and replace the ceiling tile and clean up. Repeat for each column and every few stories. Ignite. Watch the columns explode in a shower of fragments & sparks.

@tpsossff Yes, it is imaginary. The outer wall columns were hollow box columns primed with a iron oxide primer. The lower floors had thicker column walls than the upper floors. The columns were not enclosed in concrete, only painted and covered with an aluminum cladding. The only concrete was for the floors which was placed on corrugated steel pans or decks. There was no evidence of explosives detonating or burning on the inside of the box columns (or anywhere else for that matter).
I gave this some more thought. I don't think it is molten aluminium. It appears to be burning and ally needs a couple of thousand degrees C to do that. The only two metals I know of that burn at a lower temp are Magnesium alloys used in the airframe of the aircraft or depleted uranium used as counterwieghts in the tail and engine nancelles. that burns steady at 500 deg C.
@tpsossff Aluminum has the highest energy density (joules per milliliter) of any material, including magnesium. Space shuttle solid rocket booster fuel is 16% aluminum. Aluminum forms a oxide coating when exposed to air which prevents further oxidation which is why your soda cans don't burst into flame.
It appears in the video that the liquid hits something, spatters, and then glows more brightly. The spattering would expose more aluminum metal to oxygen, causing rapid burning.
But how did it get hot enough in the first place to behave like that? The only thing I can think of is that the biulding itself behaved like a furnace, sucking in air through shattered windows below the impack point and funneling it up through the structure.
If this is what happened it does call into question the intregrity of any high biulding that is subjected to fuel fires.

The NIST report on WTC seems to recommend cladding steel columns and exit stairs in concrete which would help insulate the steel. However if a "hardened" high rise building is hit by a fully fueled aircraft, it's not going to bounce off.
Why do you say it is molten iron? Ever heard of the Yosemite Firefall? Park rangers would build a bonfire on top of one of the cliffs. After dusk when it was reduced to embers, it would be dumped over the side. White hot sparks would fall down the cliff. The firefall was more impressive than this video. I am sure there was lots of wood in the building. Desks, chairs, paneling, cubicals, etc. Aluminium, which there was plenty of in the WTC, when melted, would be quite impressive as well.

In a theatre I worked there was a big fire. We found hemp rope that was unharmed just next to melted steel whires. There was no thermite, aeroplanes, governments or terrorists involved. Fires are very hot and behave in strange ways.
That is not iron. Iron would not act in that manner. It is more than likely other materials, like carpet,etc....maybe some glass. Iron would have maintained much longer streams if hot enough to be molten. It's simple metalurgy.

It definitely looks yellow to me; maybe even on the white side of yellow. That means it was at least 2000C and maybe 2500C.
Way too hot for jet fuel and office fires. Note: even if it is aluminum, it still has to be that hot to glow yellow. However, aluminum melts at 660 degrees and should have flowed away before getting hot enough to glow yellow. Even at 1000 C the viscosity of aluminum is the same as water. So any aluminum ought to have been long gone!

That is pretty damning evidence, but this takes place at the crime scene. Open air fires do not work like blast furnaces. Something other than an open air fire was burning that day, and it was hot enough to turn steel into a liquid. Look up Thermite or Thermate (just add sulfur). @browntroutdown Air France flight 358 crashed of a runway and it's hull burned. It's aluminum skin melted to the ground. Interestingly it's wings with their fuel didn't burn. What melted the airliner was it's contents, seats, clothes, ect. This fire was replicated by investigators and ceiling temperatures reached 1,100 C. The twin towers with computers, seats and desks would burn hot too. Certainly enough to turn aluminium molten orange 870 C+ , soften steel and make it glow orange 880 C+.

@Spindry96 Thats interesting but where did you get this information? The TSB report on the fire does not even mention a replication by investigators. I'd be interested in seeing it if youve got a link, other than to another unreferenced internet page. Your statement contradicts the TSB report somewhat as they state fuel did leak from the fuselage. The idea of clothes and seats being an accelerant still doesnt sit right with me. Basic chemistry teaches you energy out matches energy in.

@browntroutdown Fair question, l am unable to find a original source. This is from the TSB. "Initially, the fire in the wing roots did not directly involve the fuselage. The intensity of the fire grew while the evacuation was in progress, and shortly after the completion of the evacuation, the fuselage was engulfed in flames. The cabin furnishing, carry-on luggage, and cargo hold contents sustained the fire." I think the point remains the fuselarge fire was sustained by the contents and melted.

It would be easy to destroy the building with thermite. The columns were square tube steel about 30' long. It would likely have a cap on the end to prevent debris from falling all the way to the bottom. Remove the ceiling tiles next to the column. Drill a hole in each of the pillars, blow in a few hundred pounds of thermite, add an igniter and replace the ceiling tile and clean up. Repeat for each column and every few stories. Ignite. Watch the columns explode in a shower of fragments & sparks.

How would you get 50 tons of thermite in WTC 1 & 2 in the first place? If you can imagine tons of thermite magically appearing with nobody seeing the perpetrators, why not magical thermite igniters? Oh yes, it was paint-on thermite; only needed a few ounces. Someone just applied a coat of nuclear thermite paint which cut through two inch thick steel. The residue looks like paint chips and has the spectral signature of the paint used on WTC, but is really *nuclear thermite*!

@tpsossff Yes, it is imaginary. The outer wall columns were hollow box columns primed with a iron oxide primer. The lower floors had thicker column walls than the upper floors. The columns were not enclosed in concrete, only painted and covered with an aluminum cladding. The only concrete was for the floors which was placed on corrugated steel pans or decks. There was no evidence of explosives detonating or burning on the inside of the box columns (or anywhere else for that matter).

I gave this some more thought. I don't think it is molten aluminium. It appears to be burning and ally needs a couple of thousand degrees C to do that. The only two metals I know of that burn at a lower temp are Magnesium alloys used in the airframe of the aircraft or depleted uranium used as counterwieghts in the tail and engine nancelles. that burns steady at 500 deg C.

@tpsossff Aluminum has the highest energy density (joules per milliliter) of any material, including magnesium. Space shuttle solid rocket booster fuel is 16% aluminum. Aluminum forms a oxide coating when exposed to air which prevents further oxidation which is why your soda cans don't burst into flame.
It appears in the video that the liquid hits something, spatters, and then glows more brightly. The spattering would expose more aluminum metal to oxygen, causing rapid burning.

But how did it get hot enough in the first place to behave like that? The only thing I can think of is that the biulding itself behaved like a furnace, sucking in air through shattered windows below the impack point and funneling it up through the structure.
If this is what happened it does call into question the intregrity of any high biulding that is subjected to fuel fires.

@tpsossff Here is a good article on aluminum melting: You can easily melt aluminum on a gas stove. A large enclosed space to contain the heat and melt lots of it.
The NIST report on WTC seems to recommend cladding steel columns and exit stairs in concrete which would help insulate the steel. However if a "hardened" high rise building is hit by a fully fueled aircraft, it's not going to bounce off.

Why do you say it is molten iron? Ever heard of the Yosemite Firefall? Park rangers would build a bonfire on top of one of the cliffs. After dusk when it was reduced to embers, it would be dumped over the side. White hot sparks would fall down the cliff. The firefall was more impressive than this video. I am sure there was lots of wood in the building. Desks, chairs, paneling, cubicals, etc. Aluminium, which there was plenty of in the WTC, when melted, would be quite impressive as well.

It weakens @ 2000+degrees F. It melts @ 2800 degrees F. That is what is flowing from the Building; Molten steel. That is what caused the structures to collapse; the weakening of steel. Therefore something was burning @ 2000+degrees F. If not Thermate, what was it then?

In a 1993 interview, Skilling stated that the Towers were designed to withstand the impact and fires resulting from the collision of a large jetliner such as Boeing 707 or Douglas DC-8. Aluminum glows bright red when it's in the forge and
being aerated. Because it's so light, it has no thermal mass
and cools VERY rapidly. This is DEFINITELY NOT steel.

One plainly tells of pulling up steel beams and the would be red hot and burst into flame when exposed to oxygen. Listen to them, they were there, you weren't. This testimony the 911 commission ignored along with eye witness testimony of the event. You know it, stop being disinfo.

from the Boeing 767 impact, this is where the aircraft came
to a stop. SO:
1. the closest mass of metal to this window is almost all
aluminum. Aluminum alloys melt at MUCH lower temps
than steel, so you have to explain how the temperature
LEAPFROGGED over the melting point of aluminum to
get to the steel and make it liquid, don't you?

@Merlin5x5 No, if you have watched a demolition expert set a beam to be cut with thermate or thermite, it looks exactly like that. The thermate is set to cut at a 45 degree angle and it melts the steel to make it's cut. This has nothing to do with office fires, get your story straight.

Fascinating! I can see now that those buildings were doomed from the instant the planes hit them, even if the planes had been carrying no fuel. The glowing, dripping liquid is uninteresting. What *is* interesting is that in these closeups, we can see that much of the steel-tube exoskeleton was shattered! Much of the weight-bearing strength of the buildings was in those tubes! Shatter them, and the building is drastically weakened. It would have come down eventually even with no fire.

In a theatre I worked there was a big fire. We found hemp rope that was unharmed just next to melted steel whires. There was no thermite, aeroplanes, governments or terrorists involved. Fires are very hot and behave in strange ways.

Aluminum flows away from the heat before it begins to glow like that spill glows, unless it's trapped in a heating vessel. We can rule out a heating vessel capable of making aluminuym glow like the spill glows.

It definitely looks yellow to me; maybe even on the white side of yellow. That means it was at least 2000C and maybe 2500C.
Way too hot for jet fuel and office fires. Note: even if it is aluminum, it still has to be that hot to glow yellow. However, aluminum melts at 660 degrees and should have flowed away before getting hot enough to glow yellow. Even at 1000 C the viscosity of aluminum is the same as water. So any aluminum ought to have been long gone!

i dont know if thats thermite or not but i know one thing, the WTC outside, was made of aluminum. About 10 gauge thickness of aluminum protecting the outside steel against rust. Aluminum has a melting point far below steel, and it can definetly give off that effect you see on video.

That is pretty damning evidence, but this takes place at the crime scene. Open air fires do not work like blast furnaces. Something other than an open air fire was burning that day, and it was hot enough to turn steel into a liquid. Look up Thermite or Thermate (just add sulfur). You're watching a military grade cutting charge literally eat its way through a steel column.
