Question: When you went to Channels and Control-clicked the thumbnail, how did the white get selected and not the black. If it's a standard JPG, shouldn't the entire image get selected?

@Mr101tech It would select all if you were in the LAYERS Panel. Notice I said switch to Channels. This is the key to getting the selection correct.
