I have lived in cheyenne for 10 years, and this is my last year. It's cold, windy, and there isn't shit to do. There is no work here any more. And the cops fuck with everyone if they are out driving around on weekends. It used to be a nice place, but it's a shitbox now.
i would like 2 go there !!!!! i just wish there were a little more ppl though.....but it loks like a very nice town and if it get any worse here in cali id love 2 move there!
HAHA!! I love Cheyenne. I've lived here for 12 years. The only downsides I've encountered is the wind. We only have about five days out of the year when it doesn't blow like crazy. We only have a "real" summer 2 weeks out of the year during Frontier Days. Other than that its a laid back, very conservative city that's behind the times about 40 years. The only real crime we have is meth and weed use. The cops here are bored as hell to do anything. We might have a murder ever other year. Not bad.
I grew up in Cheyenne back in the early 70's. As kids, we thought the place was boring. I live in Northern Virginia now and would give anything to move back there! LoL
I lived there for several years back in the early 80s. Several things I remember. Beautiful clear skys and brutally cold in the winter. Its a nice place during the summer, you can go on a bike ride and not see a car for hours. Nice place but I prefer San Diego, CA.
It's a long story, but I got stranded in Cheyenne for about a month and a half. Strangely enough, I loved it there and now I'm planning on moving back.
It is a very good city. It is small and doesn't have lots of stores you would find in somewhere like Denver. It has very little traffic, unless you drive on Dell range. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a quiet town.
its pretty good. there are 3 junior highs and 3 high schools (one more in the making) it has seemed to bypass all the heavy winter stuff pretty good location - close to COLO
I used to live thereee!

i've lived in dozens of cities around the world, and this is by far the most awful place i've ever endured. i will never, ever, come back here.

Traveling through Wyoming, even in Cheyenne, a fast pace is definitely not the point. The only big things there are the open land...and the sky!

LOL....i live in DC and that looks like a small town, not a "downtown" lol........bet they dont even know what a subway is over there lol!

Your city is filled with rats, stink, and traffic jams.
New Yorkers have bad tempers - evidence that the city they grew up in frustrated the hell outta them.
