Pt 16: By midnight the men were better. Together, YLX and Ye Ke helped to clean up the men. By then, the moon was low on the horizon and the stars were fading. "Thank you," YLX said. "It's ok. I shld thank you that I can look for my uncle." Ya Ke sounded so sincere YLX wondered if his story was just so simple. In the dawning light, the lad looked honest and innocent, his eyes clear and they looked straight at him. As for Xiao Ru, that event changed her relationship with YLX and his men.
Pt 15: "The meat wasnt fresh." Quickly she took some ingredients from the food stock. "Quick, boil this." YLX was shocked the lad ordered him around. "Time's very impt! Do u want them to die?" When the medicine was brewed in huge pots, Ya Ke said,"My dad taught me. I will drink it to prove it's ok." She gulped down a bowl. Hearing the groans of his men, and seeing how sick they were, YLX realized he had to risk their being poisoned by the brew or dying of food poisoning. "Let them drink."
Pt 14: were real. "What's he hiding?" YLX wondered. But there was no time to think. They arrived at a town and the men sat down to a belated meal at a small inn. Since he had biz with the town's military chief, he left with Ya Ke. When they returned to their tents in the late evening, they found all the men retching badly. Some were so weak they laid in their own vomit. Ya Ke asked them what they had eaten and how the food smelled then.
But his appearance was so sudden and mysterious. How did he sneak into the gift box? Was he a spy of the Queen's brother? Or the Queen's spy? YLX decided to give the lad "more fishing line" so that he might give himself away, whoever he was. Yet he cld not fault the lad. Ya Ke was diligent and responsible. He was quiet and kept to himself. What was his game? Whose game? He decided to keep the lad by his side that he might watch him. "Now you will work as my assistant." The lad's shock & relief
Pt 12: "Oh no!" Wld YLX recognize her from the poster? When he sent for her, she almost panicked. Like a cat playing with a mouse, he didnt get straight to the point but asked her questions abt the leather gifts and her family. "Princess Xiao Ru has left home. Someone helped her. Did you?" "No, no. I don't know the Princess. How could someone like me knows the princess?" YLX knew that the lad was not what he appeared to be. On the one hand, he knew his horses, and he knew abt leather.
Pt 11: "All right." He assigned her some menial jobs. That night, as she slept in the open air, she wondered why he had accepted her so easily. "He's not a fool. But let each day takes care of itself." Over the next few days, she adjusted to the delegate's schedule and the work. On the fourth day, a shock awaited her. A messenger from the palace was talking to YLX. From eavesdropping, she learnt the Queen had sent out search parties to look for her.
"Please have mercy. My family make these leather gifts. My third uncle ill-treated me after my father's death. I want to look for my second uncle in the Chinese capital. So when we delivered the gifts, I decided to run away. Please help me. i can help take care of the leather." For a long time, the cold piercing eyes stared at her.
Pt 9: "No way!" She clutched her father's name tag. "Courage!" Counting their stops, she decided she would come out in the night. When she peeped out of the hole she had made earlier, she realised it was night. Tried as she did, she cld not open the box. "Oh no, how did they lock it?" She did not see any lock. Panic set in. She tried to ply the lid open with her dagger.Suddenly the lid was flung open.
Pt 8: Finally it was morning. She felt the box being moved. She heard the noise of horns and horses, and soon they set off. "At last!" Her heart beat fast. Had her aunt discovered her escape? "I will fight till the end!" In the darkness she touched her dagger. She thot of Prince Yelu Wan. Many thot he was most eligible: handsome and talented but she saw that he had a cruel sneer. He was ambitious and manipulative.
Pt 7:Disguised as a man, on the eve of YLX's departure for China, she hid in the huge box where the imperial gifts to the Chinese emperor was kept. "I will take one step at a time," as she tried to find a comfortable corner in the box. "By the time I climb out for fresh air and food, it's too late for Uncle to capture me!" She had thought of a story to convince YLX to bring her to the Chinese capital.
Pt 6: Meekly, she went to the capital and stayed with her aunt, Empress Xiao. The palace was in chaos. Yelu Xie had stopped the final battle. The Empress decided to sign the peace treaty. "That's it," she jumped for joy when she heard that Yelu Xie to visit the Chinese capital one final time before he retired to the grasslands.
but i will also choose wulang though a pity things doesnt turn out well.though yeluxie luvs her more he is wild whereas wulang can give her stableness..cannot forgive him when he become monk omg stupid

When he next woke up, he found himself in a simple little hut with an old lady and the young lady he had rescued. Due to his extensive injuries, he became limp, and confused at times.
Pt3:In the trunk, she found, beside her mother's fine clothes and some jewels, some letters, her late father's flute, an old name tag, and an old spear head. Puzzled, she opened the letter addressed to her. "My papa was from Song!" She gasped, shocked. Tears flowed as she remembered the quiet kindly man who would swing his toddler daughter in the air. He taught her how to play the flute, and how to fight with a sword. He also taught her to write the Han language, in secret. Now she understood.
Pt 2: After the mourning was over, her uncle told her that he had engaged her to a young Liao prince, Yelu Wan (in history, the Liao dynasty was ruled by the Yelu and Xiao clans). She had heard about his cruelty and immoral lifestyle. "No way," she cried. But her uncle refused to heed her protests and told her that she would have to follow him back to the capital city and to get ready for the wedding.
Suddenly she remembered her mother's words, "Unlock my trunk when you are in desperation."

While the Yang warriors were battling it out with the Liaos, away in a Liao village, a young lady was weeping bitterly. Her mother, sister of Queen Xiao of Liao, had just passed away. Now she was left all alone, to the care of her uncle, Prince Xiao.
wu lang!! Justin a.k.a yelu xie wrote in his blog that he was originally offered the role of Yang Wu Lang, but after reading the script, he insisted on playing the antagonist Yelu Xie. He jokingly said, "I'll bet everything I have, that as long as they don't get an imbecile to play the role, anyone will shine as Yelu Xie."

Guan hong made the best choice, despite how terrible it is and how stupid the choice is; like the ending, despite how much it sucks that everyone died it was the best alternative. I mean, try imagine guan hong marrying yeluxie and no one died at the end, how terrible would that kind ending be!

In Liao history, Yelu and Xiao clans were the ruling clans.
So I created a prince called Yelu Wan who is of the same clan as Yelu Xie. They are related only in that they are clansmen.

One of the best drama but very disapointing ending though. I recommend this drama a lot!! Great mv
