This song brings back memories of the Beijing Olympics :(, Beijing was awesome, best Olympiad ever in my lifetime. I used to get up at like 6am (UK Time) so I could watch the 08 Olympics! They should use this theme for the 2012 Olympics, even though it's Chinese music, but who cares?

I've listened to other versions of Molihua, and they don't have the chorus that we hear in the Olympic medal ceremony version. Was an alternate chorus written for the medal ceremony theme, or is it a cut of two piece of music and then mixed together?

yeah i had the same thing happen to me when watching the olympics. i dont know where you can find a hq copy. Phelps got to listen to it eight times

I don't know what it is about the music, other than it completely captivated me everytime I heard it during the medal ceremonies. Go Phelps....can't wait until the London games of 2012. It will be hard to top the '08 Beijing games. We can say what we want about the Chinese, but they sure know how to throw a party!
