I'm just lucky that I still have two of her half-sisters.

One is a year older than Patches was, and one is a year younger than she was.

I'm giving them a lot more attention now, because I want them to know how much they're loved.

I grow catnip and give them fresh leaves more often.

I love to watch them play with their toys.

Also I'm only giving them organic cat treats now.

Dried chicken, dried anchovies, dried calamari..ect.

I have to have one of my kitties put to sleep just yesterday. She had Basel-Cell Carcinoma, and it had spread. I've never had to to that before. I've had her since she was born in '93. She was a beautiful Calico. Her mother was a domestic shorthair (who belonged to the neighbors), and her father was some kind of long-hair. She was really smart, and very talkative, and loved every human she saw. She also somtimes beat-up dogs. Once she beat-up a grown Golden Retriever. I miss her. :(

I also had to recently put one of my babies to sleep.

Ronin was a brown marbled bengal who had feline leukemia. He was only 2 years old. Thankfully, my other babies tested negative for the flv virus and are happy and healthy.

During this time, I was fostering 3 kittens. My husband and I kept one of them who had grown very close to one of my other cats. All of those kittens are healthy as well.

I will miss my Ronin, he's buried at my mom's house in the shade of the fence.

Not just because of that, he apparently had some traumatic event that caused his sickness to catch up with him suddenly. It had spread to his bones and he didn't have much of a chance, even with a blood transfusion from one of my other cats.

He had lived with it since he was a kitten, never showing any signs of sickness or stress until just *boom* one day. He would have had maybe 4 months to live at best if we had treated him.

Don't accuse me. I loved my Ronin very much.

once a stray came to our house, so we toook him in.

we took him to the doctor to get his shots and stuff, but it turned out e had feline lukkimia :/ so we had to put him to sleep.

it was so sad, because we had gotten used to seeing him always ome to the bckyard and eat there. :/

ehehehe at first he would pee all over the couches, which was terrible, but when he got fixed, he was fine.

My kitten had the same problem, when we rushed her to the animal e.r. they told us she was brain dead...That was the first time I ever had to put a kitten down and it was so sad!! I miss her a lot, but thankfully they gave us her paw prints in clay so I least have those... poor Kaze.

My friend has this cat that goes to her house every night and sleeps on her deck and she is afraid it will jump off and brake a bone. She is not sure if it has a home or not, she thinks it doesnt. Well if the reason why your dad doesn't want one is because of fur/allergies, then you might keep it shaved.

If it's clawing the furniture that he's worried about, then you can buy a scratching pad/post and roll it in dried catnip.

If that doesn't work, a water gun is always a quick way to teach a cat to stay off furniture.

You might just have to settle for having an outside cat for now.

And you don't have to subscribe to me if you don't want to.

I don't care how many subscribers I have.
