The General makes a fair point, it is still the best version off the show ever recorded. But I would hold your ear close to the set, next time you play a dvd from the war season. If you listen carefully, it can be heard either way (I heard it your way myself back on a rerun in 1980). Your correction on the contemporary season's theme though is right on the money,

I bought this song last week on iTunes, having Geeked out at my discovery. How awesome is it that new artists continue to cover it? The Bomsters stay true to the spirit and fun of the song while putting their own "spin" on it. A testament to Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel and, of course, Wonder Woman. Favorited. Thumbs up. And now I'm going to buy their whole album.

Very good considering they combined both versions of the theme into one, I am impressed, Although the last line of the second stanza is "make a liar tell it true". True rhymes with blue, not truth. No fault, no foul however, I thought it was truth myself at first many moons ago,

@PREGO1966 Agreed, I love that they combined the two song versions. But I have to set the record straight; the line is, in fact, "make a liar tell the truth." It's the way I've always heard it - and more importantly - it's the way it's written on the sheet music. But since we're being thorough, the Bomsters do take liberty with the line "and our courage to defend." Actual line is "and our courage to the test." Mistake or intentional, I can live with it. Small price to pay for a kick-ass cover.
