  • Face it. In a few decades, China and other East Asian countries will be laughing at the western society.

  • @InspectorValter they are now lol

  • @InspectorValter thay all ready do...

  • @InspectorValter The Maglev was designed by people from the West..

  • So THAT'S how fast a Veyron feels...

  • It was am awesome experience being on that train. The funny thing is it doesn't have seat belts.

  • @xiq7777 heh, if you crash at 400km/h, will they really matter? :D

  • @mbriedis dude, a plane goes more than twice that and you wear seatbelts.. used for emergency stops etc..

  • @xiq7777 Do any trains have seat belts?

  • The camera seems to be swaying back and forth. Was there yaw in the train's way as it went down the "track"?

  • My God, do these trains ever break down? FAB

  • This video is a favorite on Reykjavik

  • in the usa those would have traffic lights and stop signs every 40 feet.

  • interesting video.. thanks for posting.

  • AWESOME video man!!!

  • All this time all those chinnese people acctually said was "Speaking chinnese"

  • @Southparkateer2 CHINESE HAS ONE (1) "N"

GOD! GRAMMAR IS DETERIORATING LIKE RADIUM

  • I would work as a mecanic on that train for free :D. Daaaaamn that was fast

  • @mymovie3 you retard, its the samething when 9/11 hit the pentagon and the FBI and CIA were out there cleaning the debris and collecting camera footage around the area faster than the media can report it. Thats a coverup

  • @spike378 9/11 is a date, you idiot. A plane hit the pentagon.

  • @Dallas8844 and world trade centers ..

  • I always thought these things were fictional

  • เร็วไปไหน 55 5 55

  • i like how they just said the speeds instead of being all annoying about the train

  • china is where the us was 50 years ago...except now it has access to modern-day technologies. the us has its work cut out for itself in keeping pace (or catching up!).

  • Too know a Buggati Veyron super sport would be able to keep up with this damn thing. I have respect for both!

  • looking at this speed, i feel like a medieval dude from the past in a ferrari !

  • Vacuum maglev trains can go up to 8000 km per hours

  • Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is limited to 270 Mph.

    Key word "Limited".

    Okay.

  • @maugeemilio The Maglevs are limited too...the top speed so far has been about 320mph, without any passengers. And they can go much faster.

  • Actually its the JEWISH Media Dictatorship that is Killing the Electric Car & Maglev Train -

Media which is totally under Jewish Control and Dictatorship

has put a 1000% Censorship on Electric Car and Maglev Train and other Green Technologies

Jewish Media is more Concerned about whether Monika Lewinski gave a perfect *** Job to Bill Clinton or Not -

whether Paris Hilton brushed her teeth today or Not --- thats the News u hear

Not about Electric Car OR Maglev Train or Green Tech

  • This Was recorded with a Toaster. Made In China.

  • @mymovie3 You're right, I was out of line. I don't like the Chinese no more =(

  • 8 dollars?, thats crazy

  • On Nat Geo they said that in theorie speeds would be possible up till 20.000 km/h considering a huge vacuum space powered by multi jet engines. If there would ever be build an trans atlantic connection. Sadly costs would be around a trillion dollars and time to build 100 years....still cool though :) Europa - Us 60 min total. 20 acc - 20 max speed (20.000 km/h) - 20 min decc.

  • Comment removed

  • My god we need one of these in Australia... our trains cant reach 80km/h

  • I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY PUT A FEW ROCKET ENGINE'S ON A MAGLEV TRAIN?

    ON A DOWN HILL?

  • @kittin267 then the train is gonna crash by the time it reaches the end of the hill. lol

  • @EricKZhang what if it didnt crash

    how fast would it go

    would it be safe

    how many positive/negative g's

  • @kittin267 Mathematically? No idea, compares how steep the hill is and the force of the rocket.

  • @EricKZhang hill 20 degrees

    pounds of thrust 20000

    how fast would it go?

  • @kittin267 lol i forgot to ask u the change in time.. ah well, let have it be 5 min. TIME FOR PHYSICS:

    (1.009x10^6N)(300sec) = (1.0x10^5kg)(change in velocity). Change in velocity = 3027m/s

    119.7m/s(top speed of train) + 3027m/s = 3146.7m/s = 11328km/h = 7080mph..

    7080mph??

Eh.. i guess i didnt take air friction into account.. that requires calculus so no way im doing that right now. so yeah, if the train were to be perfectly aerodynamic then 7080mph it is. = ="

  • @EricKZhang thanks

and i notice you play combat arms i do too

what's your name on it ill add you

  • i don't care where it was made i like that train ^^

  • wow....... I'm going to Shanghai to experience this!!!

  • German technology yes, but Chinese construction and development.

  • @camwizardoz true true

  • @bewertow true true

  • unbelievable a plane goes twice as fast

  • Imagine dumping a hot creamy load in a chinese prostitutes sweaty guff at 267mph...wow

  • Huge distances in China. But it's European engineering

  • There goes the Bugatti lol, man who has the balls to piolit this, an astronaut?

  • @gtlaw There are no drivers. They can be fully automated.

  • Ireland has so much capability for something like this!!!.it pissses me off watching are railways fall to pieces!!!.such a small country we could go from A to Z in 20 mins!!! people say lot bout China. they have a brilliant investment programme in their trains!. and about 500 times the size of Ireland!!!

  • Australia needs this as well however unfortunately the politicians don't think we do !!they get from point A to point B in a chauffeur driven car or a personal jet.

    .......... Bastards.......

  • Australia needs this as well however unfortunately the politicians don't think we do !!they get from point A to point B in a chauffeur driven car or a personal jet.

    .......... Bastards.......

  • wow, i could imagine if the future of high speed rail converted to maglev technology in Europe and other countries, with trains as good looking as the ones on rail.

  • USA thinks on using up most juice, so no Maglev there

  • What happens if you jump in the cabin @ full speed?

  • @Sp1nKsTaR You land again... This is simple physics. Neither of you are accelerating relative to the other...

  • @Sp1nKsTaR An object in motion stays in motion unless acted on by an outside force. You are already moving at 270 mph, so when you jump, you are still moving at exactly the same speed as the train. So you fall down where you jumped.

  • THe only reason why chinese products are cheap is not because lack of quality but because of their currency.

The west are still diplomatic lapdogs that let the chinese get away.

Luckily the news has recently stated that china has volunteerd on valuating their currency and open many other trade windows.

That simply also means china is hardly low on cash and should have many reserves.

  • People complain a lot about public transport in the UK, but the cost is too much right? If the technology were made more efficient and affordable this might be a realistic option... who owns the patents? Done no research but some mega corp?

  • That damn china-boy need to shut the hell up! Geez, he talks as loud as the train & I can hardly concentrate.

Perhaps he desperately wanted to be included in this video, thus grabbing everyone's attention with his "mouth."

  • That is awesome!

We need that in the US, coast to coast at 250mph, for $8.

  • @smellycatpoop I think that a 3000 mile trip across the US would be a little more expensive than a 15-mile train ride in China...

  • Is there a chance the track will bend?

  • @pgbrown Not on your life, my Hindu friend.

  • They should build a luxury class maglev, furnished with busty female attendants all over the world for businessmen.

  • can you have sex on this train? That'd be so awesome...

  • Comment removed

  • OMG 2:43

  • so the train is speeding up but its still "60mph" get the facts right you douche bag it was 123 mph and said 60

  • Remember the Shanghais maglev train system was developed by Germans! Not Chinese!

  • @EuroShuttle Well at least it shows the Chinese can construct things like tunnels and tracks and train stations that don't fall apart each 3 years or so. Everyone seems to think that "Made In China" means it'll break

  • @gobipill actually the germans (Siemens) constructed the line and it was modelled after the already existing Transrapid in Germany.

  • @jec20721 You missed my point. But that's fine.

  • @gobipill 'Made in China' means they are replacing the third world with the first, good on them, what a shame we can't see the woods too!

  • @gobipill This was built by Germans. And just a FYI, I'm chinese.

  • @theothercanadian Im not chinese or german, if that makes you feel better

  • @theothercanadian

nope. this wan't built by germans. this was bought license from germans but built by the chinese in shanghai

  • @Crapidiot Parts were built in Germany and assembled in Shanghai. I'm chinese and I've lived in Shanghai for 3 years.

  • @theothercanadian

this was bought as a license FroM germany but BUILT by the chinese in shanghai. do you understand english. no germans their constructed it.

  • @Crapidiot Nope. The trains were purchased from Germany and the Germans were commissioned to build the tracks.

  • Comment removed

  • @gobipill The chinese only make high quality things for themselves, shit for everyone else.

  • @Youcansuckme69 zat iz good lol

  • @gobipill the can build them but as you may know this project was designed by germans. and by the way all the products that the chinese made for export are SHIT

  • @pe6obutilkata I like brownies

  • @gobipill good for you

  • @pe6obutilkata I have no response to this =(

  • @pe6obutilkata the products created by the brits and Americans over the last 5 years nearly bankrupted the world!

  • @gobipill that's because it was made FOR china...not by chinese but by germans!

  • @gobipill dont forget the Great Wall of China.. how long has that thing lasted?

  • @gobipill very poignant comment now... ;)

  • @gobipill your right. I live in ny. forgetabout the trains here. garbage

  • @gobipill

this is true. but it depends on what made in china products they are from. if it's low cost it's bad but if its high cost it's alright. in general it still sucks. regarding shanghai the tech is comparately better than the rest.

  • @gobipill

ignore that othercanadians comment. u are correct. there is no maglev train in germany. the tech is bought from them indeed but the tunnels and train stations and tracks are all built by the chinese there.

  • @Crapidiot Actually Berlin and Hamburg both had Maglev lines before shanghai.

  • @theothercanadian

nope. not this maglev which we are basically (all of us) going on about hence the need for distinction with germany tech.

  • @Crapidiot wtf r u trying to say

  • @gobipill

    "everyone"?

only the idiots!! they'll keep thinking like that straight into serfdom..

  • @gobipill Just..... don't.... don't assume SHIT, OK?

  • @MehthodMan Are you angry?

  • @gobipill lol u mad?

I've just been and seen China and I genuinely regret having to say that it's safe to still assume the condition of quality over there is poor... if anything it keeps their standards from dropping anyway but yeah... middle class is living in shite and they have no idea.

  • @MehthodMan Why are you angry?

  • @gobipill cause its usually true

  • @gobipill That's because they're smart enough to keep the best stuff for their own.

  • @EuroShuttle Who cares who invented it...

  • @EuroShuttle So what if the Germans had developed it? Are you saying the Chinese are incapable of producing advanced technology like this?

  • @EuroShuttle so wut ?

  • @EuroShuttle japanese not germans

  • @claton95 Actually @EuroShuttle was correct! The Transrapid shown here was engineered in Germany. This is a different train from the Japanese Maglev Train.

  • @EuroShuttle also developed by the japanese :3

  • @EuroShuttle but germany dont have the money to use it self lol?

  • BUGATTI VEYRON SS can do this in less time

  • @judejesus123 It's called INERTIA the train weighs a LOT more

  • @judejesus123 and it burns more gas and rubber than necessary. A complete waste of money and time really, this is far cleaner, safer, and efficient.

  • wtf guys

  • If I ever go on holiday to China this!!! and the imperial palace are defo on my 'to do' list:) magnetism rules ok:D

  • Long Live China..... China can take the world ... into a pollution Free... Oil Lobbies Greed free....Fast ..... cheap..... Clean..... Transportation..... American Business boomed in 1950s cuz they build roads & bridges to connect its various different States....those with Business background can understand.... how important is traffic for any business.... why companies spend billions of dollars on Ads & commercials to get traffic..... u get traffic ... u get customers.... then u get business...

  • If their government fund it, there wouldn't be a train like this. They control their currency the way the control everything else. . smoke and mirrors.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome!

Our trains in the US only go about 65mph. Our corrupt government spends all our tax money on God knows what, instead of something useful like this.

  • looks like europe with chinese characters and asian dudes

  • I'm very keen on that tune which played up to 0:25. Could somebody give me an ident for it please?

  • wow, that's faster than my Beemer

  • Yes please, Perth-Sydney to start....

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh

  • This is the future of travel

  • If only western countries weren't so fucking caught up with Air lines bullshitting lobbyist forces we'd be able to experience this wonderful form of travel too.

  • Technology FTW

  • As much as I hate to acknowledge it, a nationwide high speed passenger rail system in America would have no real benefit. It would be a very costly project that would never pay itself off.

  • @Maxables ?

  • @focista6 Flight is cheaper, even over short distances. Population density isn't high enough here.

  • @Maxables

it can easily be done on state level as in CA we're gonna build high speed rail from the Bay Area to LA

  • I wish that was a reality in my country. :(

  • There 3.46 IKEA big sign Swedish furniture and cheap meatballs for kids at about 2 dollars/meal

  • A city block per second...

  • I've always liked the Maglev but, I think High Speed rail and slower speeds are more suited to the UK.

  • @seres1091 It has been invented, built and installed by the German transrapid company. China bought it from Germany.

  • @lukapentsi

But German can't travel with this in their own country. So ironic.

  • Cool but no thanks.

  • can someone make a 3D glasses video of this ?:D red/blue glasses PM ME and nice vid

  • USA NEEDS THIS BAD!!!

  • @DeadEND2012 I totally agrees... Chinese high speed train network alone dominates the world, yes we have far more advance air traffics, but high speed rail is so much more efficient in cost and energy(specially if we are talking about maglevs) but too much bureaucratic bullshit is behind the curtain.... we need another president like TDR or JFK where shit gets done(Obama is doing a great job, but the last administration fucked things up so bad, one president might not be able to fix it)

  • @SierraHawkProduction Obama is spending billions on bridge repairs

  • @DeadEND2012 Unfortunately, the USA cannot build maglevs at this time--they just simply aren't able. As of 2011, the USA can barely manage low-speed mostly-reliable rail service to only a few stations. Maybe in a few decades, though--maybe in the 2040s or later.

  • @DeadEND2012 USA have planes : where would you put those trains ? They need a dedicated track. The concept is interesting with "middle" distances such as 500 / 1000 km (considering that a train stops downtown as opposed to planes) , after that plane is faster. This leaves few options : Washington DC - NY - Boston ; San Francisco - L.A. ; maybe NYC - Cincinnati (Chicago is already too far) or Dallas - New Orleans or Galveston / S. Antonio / C. Christi. Or do I miss the point entirely ?

  • @vincent7520 this can carry wayyyyyyy more people than a plane can.... and hey ELEVATED/UNDERGROUND TRACKS..... MAYBE?

  • @vincent7520

I recommend putting High speed rail ways throughout the US! Ontario California to Las Vegas Nevada is a great idea!

  • @DeadEND2012

    hmm maybe so.

but you don't expect air companies to finance this. who will ??…

  • @vincent7520 Me & U

  • @DeadEND2012

well I'm sorry to say … but right now I have other plans to spend my small never ending fortune !!!…

  • @DeadEND2012 How much would you pay to ride one if you were doing some traveling like? From home to work? Then from your home state to surrounding states? then across the country?

  • @penmanshipZebra - About the same as Amtrak is charging in California!

  • @DeadEND2012 as long as there's still oil, you will never have this kind of things in usa...unless you riot

  • One of these blew by my taxi on the way to Shanghai Intl. It was intense.

  • are these more or less reliable then traditional rails? if more reliable, then why not expand this RIGHT NAOW!

  • @snelpiller Simply, too expensive.

  • @snelpiller there's a lot of controversy surrounding maglev technology. many people cite health hazards, like electromagnetic overexposure and possible radiation poisoning as reason to not use this technology at the moment.

  • @snelpiller

    1.Cost of manufacture.

    2.Cost of ongoing maintenance.

3.Huge travel distances called for to bring the system into its own.

Most railways need to make frequent station stops, like a passenger bus on rails, to sustain customer throughput and cashflow. A very expensive luxury train with high maintenance costs and low yield owing to the long times between stops. Not gonna work everywhere is it?

  • @vapourmile These things don't have high maintenance costs at all...

  • Nice video

  • or you could fly at 575mph!

  • @jpro747 but travelling at 400km/hr a couple feet off the ground is way cooler

  • actually the new bugatti veyron supersport is 267mph to and its better looking, and i bet i handles better lol

  • interesting to see many comments from three years ago. and now Chinese conventional operating train speed record is close to that speed (416.6 kmph by CRH 380A in September).

I hope they can extend this line so that it can use its full strength
