  • that sucks bro that was like a 6lb bass

  • mojo bass

  • awesome i need to get a hat cam there so pricey thoug

  • Great hookset i love how you knew how to let let it take the bait, amazing! nice

  • great job, with natural reation baits, topwater frogs are good, i can see action of rod! nice frog movement

  • is this lake saltonstall?

  • Nice dark green bass....and I agree about waiting to set the hook....you got to do that to increase the hook up ratio and you my friend got that down pat it looks like!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • It's great that you suppressed your natural reaction to set the hook after the strike. You waiting years before setting the hook. That was nice.

  • Thanks. It's something I've been trying to work on. You're right though, the natural reaction is to swing away! But you gotta fight the urge and you'll increase your hookups on the frogs.

  • Nice fish! how do you work those frogs? I've heard a lot about their succes but havent tried using them yet...

  • its ez to use hard to master, but I'd suggest get the cheap one first (scum frog) try throw it near heavy weed or lily pad (highly suggest lily pad for start) just try to imitate a frog pause in the holes between the pads for like a good 5-10 sec at least. You will get tons of bite on a nice day now here come the tricky part for these kids of lure (Wait min 2 secs b4 u set the hook and set it HARD) and I mean Hard.
